Please explain what you understand 'sin' is?

I don't understand why you have to write such rude replies on each of my posts. I’m just a curious Christian that wants to learn.

And learning involves understanding just what ones question means.

If one does not know what sin is, what vpoint is there in asking questions about sin.

What happens eventually ?  (maybe soon, maybe right away, maybe never?)

If you protect yourself ?

What happens eventually if Yahuweh Protects you (as He Says in His Word) ?

Do we do as Jesus did ?   He entrusted His whole life, every aspect, to His Father in Heaven......

if you are protecting yourself, it's ok to use the tools you have...    but you should not go past protection.   Personally I use a .40 cal smith and Wesson.    And to use that legally here you have to be in very dire circumstances fearing for your life or serious health damage....   use it outside that and it's probably off to jail with you...

What the Bible says about self-defense

In the following Pro 25:26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.

Luke 11:21-22
21 "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace.
22 But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils."

And how can the master of the house prevent his house from being broken into except that he use deadly force?

Luke 12:39
39 "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into."

Which leads us back to Exodus 22:2

Exodus 22:2
2 "If the thief is found breaking in, and he is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt for his bloodshed."

I don’t think so. It’s good exercise and will give you confidence to avoid fights I believe. You will be able to use words better by not fearing physical confrontation. But by all means, let peace reign as far as it is possible by you.

Excuse me, but will you please stop stabbing me with your knife and stealing my property, and can you give me a moment while I call the police? What, you want my cell phone as well?

Are you sure words work?

I was trying to be nice. I’m all for self defense. I’m even a bit aggressive my self. But peace if we can pull it off?

It is not a sin to train physically in a sport.

It is not a sin to protect yourself when being assaulted.

It is not a sin to train in boxing if you fear assault and have been assaulted.

It is not smart to spend years boxing and doing karate and marksmanship, if you haven't been assaulted, but want to be "super-ready" to harm others when they attack you (he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword).

Can you explain your reasoning for the second part?
