Go figure. Human tradition always mucks everything up. Some say YAHWAY, some say YAHVAY some say YAWAY, some say there is a 72 letter Kabalist way of saying the name... It's all based on Exodus 3:15 I AM THAT I AM / I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE / I WAS WHAT I WAS The first and the last. He who was and is and is to come. I AM BECAUSE I AM. Self contained, self sufficient (the only one of its kind), eternal (existence without beginning or end). All in the name YHVH. His is also the source of all things: 1 Corinthians 15:10 (NASB95) 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.
