The Peril of Unbelief
14We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly to the end the assurance we had at first. 15As it has been said: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion.” 16For who were the ones who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?…

Cross References
Psalm 95:7
For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the sheep under His care. Today, if you hear His voice,

Hebrews 3:7
Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear His voice,

Hebrews 4:7
God again designated a certain day as "Today," when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts."

Unbelief? My belief in the Lord is unshakeable.

God knew he was going to create man, he knew man would be temped so he knew there had to be a law, he knew man would not be able to be perfect so he knew he would need to send Jesus Christ to die, and he knows some people are just evil ...

ALL people are evil.

Do you believe ,  like Abraham did,   that God can raise someone from the dead ,  when it suits Him,  but more especially when He Promises to or it is necessary in order to keep even just one of His Promises ?

The Lord can do anything, and the reason he can do anything is that everything he does is motivated by love, even when he has to discipline us.

Remember that Yahuweh, the Creator, is PERFECT IN JUDGMENT,  and ALL that HE DOES IS RIGHTEOUS.   He might love you, and still destroy you, according to all Scripture.     Sooner ,  all His children,  HE SCOURGES.

Does he have the ability to lead each of us to repentance?

  • Huh?  I don't get it. 1

Does he create us knowing he can lead us to heaven, even if it means much discipline along the way, or is it his intention that most of us spend eternity in hell?

Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Titus 1:1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

Repentance, acknowledging of the truth, is all godliness, that shows it is not manliness, or that it is nothing to do with man. That is why man believes in the heart to righteousness, because of Gods righteous faith creating all in the beginning by faith, and the confession is by His Spirit, which is the Spirit of truth..................acknowledging of the truth...

I think your getting off topic on purpose.

Reading Scripture,  God's Word,  you can find out how many will be saved,  and how many will perish,  as God Says Clearly.
