And now I only got this to say ,  LET ALL the lambs PUT THOSE HANDS UP and let out an esemble of praise TO THE LORD that would drown out

the largest marching band the world has ever seen .

YEP ,  its HIGH TIME TO PRAISE THE LORD .

Hmm, if your speaking about Catholicism, basically your saying "Jesus and".  In otherwords, Your saying that in Addition to Coming into Relationship with Christ, there are other requirements, such as rosary beads, veneration of Mary, etc.  This is definately wrong.  I refer to John 14:6 as to this.

I was born and raised Catholic but am no longer a member. After several decades of searching, reading and prayer I have come to the conclusion that no church and/or denomination is what Jesus intended. Some seem to come closer than others.

The main thing is Loving accordingly, the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and likewise neighbor as oneself.  In that one will desire to pray/praise/worship/fellowship/study the Scriptures/share the Good News/and be Thankful through it all.

I've attended funerals, weddings, etc. at catholic churches. I've no reason to attend one. Nor would I. It's not that I consider the people to be not Christian. Rather, there is just so much there that I disagree with that I'd be better off not attending church at all and just doing devotional at home.

I would say no. The Catholic Church is not the best choice. The biggest problem is its belief that faith alone in Christ is not sufficient for salvation. That is just one problem among others. I would say they are a cult.

One of my daughters just became a Catholic. I always had a problem with what they teach, but after the stuff she went through (she's in her second marriage), I now consider it a cult.

To make matters worse, her current husband is a devout Christian and ex-Catholic. He will not be attending with her.

And due to her experience, I'm seeing a pattern. Catholicism, like Islam, carefully controls the smallest aspects of your life. For people that need that kind of rigidity and "letter of the law" guidance, it brings them something that they may feel "normal" Christianity is missing.

My believe is that she will either tire of it and dump it, or she will become a nun. Dead serious. I do believe she is Christian, but I really feel sorry for her husband.

Yes, and right now I live in a country where a large majority, believe that their sins are made right because of fasting for a month, and slaughtering some cattle.........  They are completely lost.
