Isn't He risen? It fits their gospel of a continuing sacrifice like the mass. Jesus said it is finished but the mass perpetuates the sacrifice and purgatory is some kind of atoning place also. It's really a different gospel and you are right, He no longer is on the cross. 1 1

Seeing Him on the cross reminds me that He committed the sacrifice, bore our sins, so we can be forgiven. I dont view it that He is still on the cross, or that He hasnt risen. One of my favorite crosses at home is an antique bronze cross with Jesus on it. 1

(to the destruction of their souls).

The word for the end is all teachers and all separate religious groups top be not with the Lord. Nobody can decode one Christian religion is better than another, or another is worse, all are without anyone teaching to lay our lives down and stop being so selfish keeping our lives for ourselves. It can not be true then to isolate one religion and label all as prevented from finding Heaven, that i up to God who He calls and who He does not, just like Matthew was a tax collector, you could say he was in the wrong place, and Saul also, who became Paul, but those things did not matter at all.  The cross cannot be termed as anything with unholiness connected to it, the world knows Jesus Christ died on the cross, similar like the world knows about Christmas, when He was born, they have an example without knowing all the detail, but the Lord did not leave Himself without witness..  Acts 14:17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness. Guest Luke11
I always thought of the cross with Jesus on it as a just a reminder the sacrifice that Jesus as done, i never thought of it as a catholic cross just another variation of a Christian cross in general or trying to say the work is still unfinished. Most Christian answers are: "Does it matter?" Well, do you guys think it matters?
