I am wondering if this applies to what you are referring to?

Revelation 20:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

This one verse leaves no doubt in regard to the future fate of these monsters.....We know the fires of Hell are eternal, but that does not necessarily  the denizens of Hell are in for an eternal torture camp .Reasonable people disagree......I have seen many threads that have involved intelligent, Bible supported views that show the logical thinking on both sides. Nobody can say with 100% certainty which view is correct.

Is it correct to look at salvation this way? That we've accrued a debt through our sins which must be paid with our death and eventual place in the lake of fire and that Jesus has completely paid our debt with His death and shed blood on the cross and that He was buried and rose again on the third day and that through faith in Him and what He's done (His death and shed blood on the cross, His burial, and His resurrection on the third day) we are saved?

Pretty much but I would add few words

" that through faith in Him and humble submission to Him"

From everything I've read, we're to follow Christ in love, with the remainder of our life, if we don't follow his example of love, we're lost.

Faith in Jesus is the key to salvation.
