To God be the Glory

1

by Frances J. Crosby

To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life our redemption to win,
And opened the life-gate that all may go in.

  Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
  Let the earth hear His voice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
  Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
  And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.
2
Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
3
Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.

Let all praise our savoir JESUS CHRIST RISEN KING

avoiding romes all inclusive that dreaful dreary thing .

OH lift up the voices to Christ our only true hope

and let none heed romes song of all inclusive dope .

Praise the LORD
Praise the LORD

let the saints praise the LORD

Praise the LORD

Praise the LORD

let the saints praise the LORD .

To GOD be the glory He gave us the SON

that all who are in HIM will hear job well done

OH praise Our dear savoir Christ JESUS our Song

and let us be praising HIM all the day long .

Praise the LORD

Praise the LORD

let the saints praise the LORD

praise the LORD

praise the LORD

let the saints praise the LORD .

TO GOD be all honor and glory and praise

and let all the peoples sing and hands let them raise

OH praise our dear Savoir of all who are His

and let all flee rome and with her have no BIZ     business .

It aint much of a song ,  BUT its a song never the less .  PUT THOSE HANDS UP AND LET ALL PRAISE THE LORD .

1 Now thank we all our God
with heart and hands and voices,
who wondrous things has done,
in whom his world rejoices;
who from our mothers' arms
has blessed us on our way
with countless gifts of love,
and still is ours today.

2 O may this bounteous God
through all our life be near us,
with ever joyful hearts
and blessed peace to cheer us,
to keep us in his grace,
and guide us when perplexed,
and free us from all ills
of this world in the next.

3 All praise and thanks to God
the Father now be given,
the Son and Spirit blest,
who reign in highest heaven
the one eternal God,
whom heaven and earth adore;
for thus it was, is now,
and shall be evermore.

I listened to this one this afternoon.

Abba Father, let me be
Yours and Yours alone
May my will forever be
Evermore Your own
Never let my heart grow cold
Never let me go
Abba Father, let me be
Yours and Yours alone

This one reminds me of when I was a kid, with my parents at the church services.

Verse 1

At the name of Jesus
Every knee shall bow,
Every tongue confess Him
King of glory now:
'Tis the Father's pleasure
We should call him Lord,
Who from the beginning
Was the mighty Word.

Verse 2

Mighty and mysterious
In the highest height,
God from everlasting,
Very Light of light.
In the Father's bosom,
With the spirit's blest,
Love, in love eternal,
Rest, in perfect rest.

Verse 3

Humbled for a season,
To receive a name.
From the lips of sinners
Unto whom he came,
Faithfully he bore it
Spotless to the last,
Brought it back victorious,
When from death he passed:

Verse 4

Bore it up triumphant
With its human light,
Through all ranks of creatures, To the central height,
To the throne of Godhead,
To the Father's breast;
Filled it with the glory
Of that perfect rest.

Verse 5

Name him, brothers, name him,
With love as strong as death,
But with awe and wonder
And with bated breath:
He is God the Saviour,
He is Christ the Lord,
Ever to be worshipped,
Trusted, and adored.

Verse 6

In your hearts enthrone him;
There let him subdue
All that is not holy,
All that is not true:
Crown him as your captain
In temptation's hour;
Let his will enfold you
In it's light and power.

Verse 7

Brothers, this Lord Jesus
Shall return again,
With his Father's glory,
With his angel train;
For all wreaths of empire
Meet upon his brow,
And our hearts confess him
King of glory now.

Here's another.

[Verse 1]
Majesty
Worship His Majesty
Unto Jesus
Be all glory, honour, and praise

[Verse 2]
Majesty
Kingdom authority
Flow from His throne
Unto His own
His anthem raise

[Chorus]
So exalt, lift up on high
The name of Jesus
Magnify, come glorify
Christ Jesus the King

[Verse 3]
Majesty
Worship His majesty
Jesus, who died, now glorified
King of all kings

Another that I was unfamiliar with. Thanks for introducing me to it.

Wow! This hymn touched me deeply... If pondering on those  wonderful lyrics doesn't cause one to worship, I don't know what will.

God bless you, sister for these posts you have brought! :)

1 Savior, like a shepherd lead us,
Much we need Thy tender care;
In Thy pleasant pastures feed us,
For our use Thy folds prepare:
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Thou hast bought us, Thine we are;
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Thou hast bought us, Thine we are.

2 We are Thine, do Thou befriend us,
Be the guardian of our way;
Keep Thy flock, from sin defend us,
Seek us when we go astray:
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Hear, O hear us when we pray;
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Hear, O hear us when we pray.

3 Thou hast promised to receive us,
Poor and sinful though we be;
Thou hast mercy to relieve us,
Grace to cleanse, and pow'r to free:
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Early let us turn to Thee;
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Early let us turn to Thee.

4 Early let us seek Thy favor,
Early let us do Thy will;
Blessed Lord and only Savior,
With Thy love our bosoms fill:
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Thou hast loved us, love us still;
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Thou hast loved us, love us still.
