Sadly, her twin had been a still birth upon arrival but the little sister was a fighter. For awhile she was in the incubator. Her mama was brave and hopeful that she would make it. But it was not to be. Now the parents are grieving two instead of one. They could really use your prayers. My daughter, too. She is taking it very hard (The babies mom is her good friend.) Here is my poem in honor of Abigail and those who loved her- TENDER THOUGHTS OF ABIGAIL Somehow you didn't make it We prayed and prayed you would But God must have His reasons For he is always good We just don't understand it Our hearts are filled with pain You were a loss to all of us But Heaven is your gain One day we're going to join you I pray it will be soon Up there it's lovely music Down here it's out of tune You're with the loving Savior Who gave you life and birth Although you didn't stay long And had to leave this earth Your precious life still counted Your parents miss you so But one day they'll experience The joy and peace you know 1 2 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
