My question remains: where do you read what their interpretation was? Where are you getting this?  The pharisees that lived in Jesus time certain did not think 167 BC was "the end," for they were still playing "Judaism."  We really don't know what they thought of Jesus' Olivet discourse - if they ever found out what He said. If they did hear about "not one stone left on another," we could guess they did not believe it.

I can assure you, I am SURE "the end" of any age was not accomplished in 167 BC. What was ended was Antiochus' attack on Israel and Judaism back then. The Angel told Daniel the end of that particular time of persecution would be in 2300 days. It is all history now. Now we know that yet another attack will come upon Israel. What is future, the 70th week of Daniel, will certainly be the end of their "70 weeks."

We do know the pharisees taught the abomination that causes desolation was set up in 167 bc.

The abomination tgat causes desolation is set up at the time of the end. .

As it is written in,daniel .https://biblehub.com/daniel/11-40.htm

And as Daniel states ,At that time there shall be great tribulation, unlike there ever was.

https://biblehub.com/daniel/12-1.htm

As for the Pharisees. They didnt believe Jesus.Thats why they continued to believe the lie about the abomination of desolation being set up in 167 bc.If they had believed Jesus then they would have known the abomination,of desolation is set up at the time of the end during what Jesus called great tribulation and would be a sign,of his coming.

https://biblehub.com/matthew/24-15.htm

Insted of believing Christ, the pharisees continued to decieve people into believing the lie.

Now, finally, I understand: you are just making this stuff up.  However, I agree with you about Daniel 11:40 and 12:1.  Both are future to us today.

I havnt made anything up.The Pharisees did.

The wise understand and the wicked do not.

https://biblehub.com/daniel/12-10.htm

Do you believe the Pharisees who translated daniel 11 were wicked or wise?

There is no other option.

https://biblehub.com/daniel/12-10.htm

Either you believe the Pharisees were wicked or you believe they were wise.

So now you are going to attack those who wrote the scripture? We don't have Daniel's original document. We don't have ANY original documents from the bible authors. ALL we have is copies of copies. Did a Pharisee do any of this copying? Well, perhaps a scribe did. Will you then attack the scribes?  If you can't believe our bible is the inspired word of God, you are in big trouble!

Bottom line: We MUST believe our bible is the inspired word of God and that God is powerful enough to KEEP it true.

Im not talking about the bible.Im,talking about the Pharisees interpretation of the book of Daniel.

The Pharisees intetptetation of Daniel 11 is found in the "antiquities of the jews"and the book of Maccabeus which books are not the word of God.

If you wish to believe they are the word of God then you are sadly mistaken.

Obviously you have no idea what im,talking about so this discussion will get no where.

So please show us all WHERE you find a history of that time period NOT written by pharisees? You must have something else to use as evidence to prove what they wrote is in error.  I am not saying the book of Maccabees in "bible"  or should or should not be in the bible.  All I am saying is, you need ANOTHER document to prove what they wrote is in error. Otherwise it is just your opinion.

Of course, if that is all there is in the world written about those things, then anyone can try to rewrite history.

The word of Jesus Christ is proof the Pharisees were in error for teaching their interpretation of the abomination of desolation written by Daniel which they claim took place in 168 bc.

THIS IS THE PROOF THEY WERE IN ERROR

THIS IS THE WORD OF GOD.

Jesus' mention of a future abomination says NOTHING about the pharisees. Can you get real?

The word of God is real.

https://biblehub.com/matthew/24-15.htm

The mention of the only abomination which causes desolation is proof the pharisees lied about 167 bc.All lies.

There is only ONE abomination which causes desolation which the prophet Daniel spoke of.Not two, three,or how ever many you claim, there is.It is singular and that abomination of desolation is future.

https://biblehub.com/matthew/24-15.htm

Anyone who says that abomination which causes desolation is past is in error just as the pharisees are in,error.

https://biblehub.com/niv/daniel/11-31.htm

Daniel only spoke of ONE abomination which causes desolation

Ah! I get it: you imagine God can only bring about ONE abomination! Wow. Our God is bigger than that!

Notice carefully that Daniel mentions TWO "little horns."

Did you miss that? The truth is, one Little Horn was Antiochus who did an abomination.

The other "little Horn" will do another abomination in the future.

It is really quite simple. You can't rewrite history!
