He had much to do with me getting saved at a young age. He took the family to church each Sunday, put me in Christian school, took me to Christian book stores to buy records and even took me to Christian concerts. He encouraged me in writing poems for the Lord, as did my mom. He was a selfless person, always putting others first. He was a hard worker, a wonderful dad, a loving husband, a terrific grandpa to my kids, and a caring great grandpa to my daughter's son. He had an excellent sense of humor and those who knew him loved how he made them laugh. He was great with animals. He was one of a kind. Many through the years would call him special.
