The salvation of your souls, of which salvation the prophets enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace to come, searching what and what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them signified, testifying beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glory to follow. Revealed unto them, that they ministered these things to us after them, which the angels desire to look into and cannot, be sober and hope for the grace to be brought at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Here is a more sure word of testimony for this ending time, knowing first, nobody who privately interpretes the scriptures are being moved by the Holy Ghost, as the prophecy came not in old times by the will of men, (such as men here keep discussing and debating) but Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost to show those suffering of Christ and the fulfilment of them..

2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Here is that sure word, there were also false prophets among the people, at the same time as those Holy men of God giving the prophecy as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. There at the end shall be false prophets among us, bringing in damnable heresies, (teaching what they know not)1 Timothy 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm...Titus 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

Many follow their pernicious presumptious ways,  by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of, and through coveteousness with feigned words make merchandise of you, and we see we do it not, to worship men: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy...

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
