And how did you get from the Bible that "the conditions of eternal life cannot be expressed in one sentence"?

Before going on ,   is that the correct quote?  Is that what was posted and auto-quoted ?   (no)

In and through the WHOLE BIBLE,  there are statements , God's Word,  about eternal life.  Some conditions,  some descriptions,  some requirements,  and so on......  all true,  every one of God's Word absolutely TRUE - and never contradicting Himself.  Thus,   if someone fails one test of His Word,   even if they seem to pass some other test,   God's Word remains unchanged,  and unchangeable.

I AM quoting the "whole Bible". When the Bible tells us something 150 times, should we obey it? The Bible says over 150 times, some variation of "Trust Jesus = Eternal Life".

There are NO Bible verses in context that says we have to prove something about our walk for salvation. But a lot gets into typical Christian jargon, here are some more things the Bible NEVER says equals salvation:

* Make Jesus Lord

* Honor Shabbos

* Keep the "big 10" commandments

* Persevere/endure personally

* Be baptized in water

* Etc.

  • Praise God! 1

Our faith is what God requires of us, so that He will give us His righteousness.

When we think of salvation........salvation is God giving us His righteousness.

we , the born again, are literally become "the righteousness of Christ".

This is our eternal status.   Its what being "born again" means.

From the moment that we are born again, God never again sees us as "sinner",  He only sees us as "The righteousness of Christ".

The woman that wiped the tears from the feet the feet of Jesus with her hair......she was forgiven—- with no strings attached.She simply knew she was a sinner that needed a Savior and she knew who that Savior was ....She had obeyed God’s Commandment- “ Believe on the One He sent”.I don’t know how much trembling took place.My guess would be “ none”.

I don't think I paid that much attention....  My personal experience; demons rarely manifest themselves openly, and when they are in a person who knows what makes the body move....

not only hard to believe but not likely.  would devils obey you all by yourself, or would they obey The Son of God in you?

Act 19:11  And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
Act 19:12  So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
Act 19:13  Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
Act 19:14  And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
Act 19:15  And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
Act 19:16  And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
Act 19:17  And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

I speak as one who has commanded unclean spirits.  it aint you they obey... but Jesus in you.

This is correct only through the Name of Christ Jesus can we cast demons away or bind /cage then or throw off a curse from them and boomerang it back to them using the blood redeeming name of Christ Jesus.

Moloch and his symbols are alive and active in this day and age and the more corrupt this world keeps going the more satan and his demons can try to do damage to anyone who does not know they have the power through Christ Jesus to rebuke, cage and send them back to the pit of hell from where they come from.

Bohemian grove, worship of Moloch with the signs of the bulls horns and the owl , represent certain Luciferians worshipers of today, they have infiltrated all aspects of society everywhere, even in christian forums and churches for the purpose of fulfilling satans plan of deception, Be careful they come in sheep's clothing looking to whom they can deceive and devour.

The more you know Gods Word, and live for God, the more prepared you become to discern the deceptions around you and of this world.

Spiritual warfare is everywhere and we as Christiana need to put on the whole armor of God daily (Ephesians 6). It is a christians protection, and knowing and employing Gods Word (the sword of the spirit), is our defense against the enemy, always always through the redeeming blood of Christ Jesus we cast demons away and leave no open door in us for them to enter and take up residence, by living daily in Him and through Him.

The only way to not give satan any room into our person and lives is to daily take up our cross and make the decision and choice to live Holy like He is Holy.

Is believing in Jesus enough for salvation according to John 3:16?

Well satan believes in Christ Jesus also and also knows Holy scripture, but he is corrupt and is separate from God and still seeks to corrupt, steal away from God and defeat God  .

If a person believes like satan does, and still seeks to live in corruption like satan desires, than no, saying they believe in Christ Jesus  certainly will not gain them salvation.

How can a person say they have fellowship God when they fellowship with satan at the same time?

who says that lies, is deceiving themsleves : (1John ch 1  1-7)

Addiction to alcohol, drugs is worshiping satan, addiction to sex, pornographic is worshiping satan

satan is a deceiver and knows how to deceive, he knows how to whisper in a persons head, through suggestion and say its ok you are just a human being...

Anyone trying to live like this is only lying to himself.

Anyone living a life of sin and saying they are in Christ, is lying to himself

So believing in Christ Jesus is the first step, what follows, is acknowledging Christ Jesus is Part of the Holy Trinity, God the Father Son and Holy Spirit, it is doing so out of the sincerity, out of of remorse for our sins and asking for forgiveness and repenting=turning our lives away from sin, laying our sins on the cross of Calvary, allowing the shed Blood of Christ to cover them, and asking the Holy Spirit of God to come make His home in our hearts .  Through this we become born of the Spirit letting go of the things of the flesh through the help of the Holy Spirit of God now working in us, and willingly and with pleasure giving our lives over to the care of God daily, seeking Him daily, communing with Him daily. that is how Christ Jesus shed Blood covers, redeems and heals us and makes us become His new creation

Being born again is having a daily active relationship with God through the redemptive work of Christ Jesus.

Beware of who lays there hands on you, or the casting out of demons, if you are not ready to live for Christ, as the demon may leave, through the naming of Christ Jesus but without living for Christ, without putting on daily the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6) one opens the way for even more demons to come in and trouble the person.

1 Corinthians 11:23-32

23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Sinners (who sometimes disobey God) are not saved by sometimes obeying God.

Our Apostle Paul says "we" "first trusted in Christ", in Ephesians 1:12.

So, I see Jesus means believing and therefore trusting.

And with trusting comes obeying.

And our basic calling as Christians includes >

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

So, obeying God basically includes obeying how He personally rules each of us in our "hearts", in His own peace which is His harmony working in our spirit and feelings and emotions and thinking and what He has us doing and saying in such personal sharing with Him.

And as ones living "worthy of the calling with which you were called" > here is how we relate in God's love >

"with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love," (in Ephesians 4:1-3)

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

So, if we believe in Jesus, we trust how He wants us to submit to our Heavenly Father and be personally ruled by God in His own peace. Plus, we share and care as His family in His gentle and humble way of loving and relating. Because we believe in Jesus and therefore how He has us loving.

If you believe your house is on fire and your children are inside, you are acting on what you believe.

What we really believe does decide what we are doing.

So, in case we suppose we believe the Gospel, but we do not constantly seek to submit to how God rules us in His peace, and we do not relate kindly and gently, why don't we? And I would consider that "all" gentleness and humility includes in our emotions and ways of reacting, because we are growing in the character of Jesus who is "gentle and lowly in heart" (Matthew 11:29). So, if we are not loving like Jesus and His example call us to relate, what excuses are we trusting? Trusting and even obeying an excuse is not trusting and obeying Jesus!!

And Hebrews 12:4-14 guarantees how our Father loves us and therefore corrects us. So, in case we have been failing to live in our calling, we can trust that our Father is committed to succeeding in correcting our character so we do better. Our basic calling includes being personally submissive to God in His own peace, discovering how He rules all within us and has us discovering how He has us loving any and all people, gently and humbly and being "tenderhearted". And  Hebrews 12:4-14 guarantees how God is committed to correcting us the way only He can truly correct us.

So, this is what we are called to. God desires to be this personal and sharing with every one of us, and His real correction does change our nature so we are with Him, like this. This is included in what grace does, in us.

go further back and read my posts and to who i quoted and what they read.  i think you got on the train after another member, who is basically stalking my posts and trying to make me look bad/wrong and willing to do so every time they see me post, and goes out of their way to do so even though i have asked them nicely to stop more than 3 times now,  and i have had to block them, responded to me without really knowing what i was speaking about, which for them is common because they do not read much and are kind of like a small child wandering into an adults conversation jumping in.

what i said will make more sense if you go back are see what i was quoting originally.. in response to what they said.

I'm not trying to hassle you. You are saying "obey" has to do with demons under authority, it looks like. Thanks for clarifying.
