I have not looked into this translation error yet but yes it does go on.

What also worries me too is pluralism i.e. all god's are the same.

Not even professional philosophers can adequately answer this:

What is the truth in "truth is relative" and dont give a relative answer.

Bear this logic in mind so you are not swayed.

Oh piglets!

No brothers and sisters there are no other gods! Deuteronomy 6:4-9!!!!!!!!!!!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My brother, the reason This Particular Verse is so important is the following:

The second chance!

[Edited for space]

I've heard this before in the context of the question of what does God do for those who've lived in times and places where the gospel of Jesus Christ had not yet reached.  In other words, what about those who've never had the opportunity to hear the gospel?   There seem to be two general classes of answers I've heard from Christians.  The first is basically a "tough luck for them" type of answer where not hearing the gospel is automatic condemnation whether either due to God's sovereignty of not having chosen them as elect to be saved or the fault of lazy Christians who don't evangelize enough.   The second is that God's grace and mercy and love does indeed extend to do something (whether in life or after) to offer salvation to everyone through Jesus Christ in some manner even if Christians never reached them with the gospel.

"to those who are now dead" instead of "to the dead".

So......Dead meaning "dead in disbelieve or dead in their sins"?  I take it. Not dead,  as in, being dead not breathing.  Is this right?

No, dear sister, it just says "the dead". Nothing else is added, not "in disbelief", not "in their sin", just "the dead".

Yes, my brother, that is how many questions we can answer if we just diligently study The Bible! We must PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for BLESSING us with the opportunity to finally have open access to various Sourse Texts, as well as being able to compare many different translations and commentaries. After all those centuries, after The Bible being chained to a wall and guarded so that No one could read it, after so much money being paid in the form of indulgence, we are finally BLESSED with seeing THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very important word .....  (not accurate nor in line with Scripture) .....   "after".....

Those whom God judges,  everyone "outside the Ekklesia" as written in His Word,

He judges perfectly, righteously, mercifully,  with no mistake, no error, no injustice ever, not even one tiny point, spot or shadow.   All of His Judgment is Perfect,  all of the time,  in all things.

God shows mercy on whom He chooses to show mercy.   This is His Judgment when and when not,  with no unrighteousness in Him,  ever,  no, not ever.

This is an account given by Jesus that depicts the finality of our choices after death.  Notice, the rich man wasn't offered salvation after death.  And Lazarus was not sent  back to preach salvation or warn the living.

Luke Chapter 16

19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

- Not the proverb Lazarus, but the real life Lazarus that JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!! raised from the dead did come back from the dead. He was from the city whose name translates as "house of he poor".

- Who did the rich man ask for salvation? He asked a man! Abraham is a man!

Now the key question is:

WHO!!!!!!!!!!!! shall we ask for salvation?

- Consider the following: while alive, Lazarus was right at the rich man's gate, suffering and thirsty. The rich man probably had enough water at his place. What stopped him from helping the suffering Lazarus? Was there any barrier between the 2? Was there anything dividing them? Why didn't he show compassion to Lazarus? Isn't that the main point of The Proverb? I think it is, however, that is just my opinion. That brings me to the main point:

- Lets study MATTHEW 13: 10-17. That tells us that Proverbs are puzzles. They have hidden meaning. Their meaning is concealed from the ordinary people. Aren't we all ordinary?

Question:  Do you also not believe any of the Old Testament is for us?

My dear sister, that is not what I'm saying at all! Just look at Romans 11:26 in combination with MATTHEW 11:20-26!

Again, I'm not suggesting that we should "take it easy" when it comes to sin. In fact I'm trying my very best to say and do the opposite, as much as I can.

- JOSHUA 7;

Deuteronomy 28;

Deuteronomy 32;

Leviticus 26;

1 Peter 3:18-22 - the dead had been imprisoned since the flood. Even though, THE SUPREME WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!! REACHED them, they had been imprisoned for about 3000 years at that time.

ISAIAH 61:1-2!!!!!!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!! FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
