The north is not the beast

Recommended Posts

According to Daniel, the armed forces of the king of the north occupy Jerusalem for three and a half years before the resurrection .This corresponds to the same time frame revelation says the gentiles occupy Jerusalem.Revelation states that after the 42 month occupation, the beast comes out of the bottomless pitt, then overcomes and kills the two witnesses in Jerusalem. This coresponds to the same time frame the king of the south attacks the armed forces of the north which were occupying Jerusalem.

Now here we see the armed forces of the north is not the beast.Because the armed forces of the north occupies Jerusalem 42 months before the beast ascends out of the bottomless pitt .

The armed forces of the north occupy Jerusalem for three years before the resurection.

The beast does not ascend out of the pitt till three and a half days before the resurection.

You are making all kinds of statements without providing any proof of what you are talking about.

Hi,

I read it. The only conclusion I could draw is that we are drawing different conclusions.

It would only take a two minutes to post the scriptures that support what you are saying, if they really say that. If you make a statement you should be able to support it with scripture.

You seem to be the only one who doesnt know where to find that information.

Perhaps this is a sign for you.

Try studying daniel chapters 11- 12, and revelation.

You seem to be having quite a time backing up what you say with scripture. All you have to do is make a statement and then copy and paste the verse or verses that supports what you're saying.

Please post the verses that prove what you're saying, if you can.

The king of the north is China. He sets up his kingdom on the north pole. While at the north pole he finds a frozen dragon. He takes DNA from the dragon and clones an army of dragons which he unleashes on the world. After the 3 and a half years they are killed in a hail storm.

He's just the only one bringing it up. I used to really be "into" this end times stuff back in the 80's and 90's. I used to take a strong position. Not any more. I believe that everybody has it wrong in one or many ways and when the events being discussed DO happen, we'll say, "Oh yeah. I see it now".

Prophesy in the bible is usually a warning. It's not about predicting (or exposing) the  future. It's about proving God's word and giving us the information we need to understand events as they happen all around us.

How many people alive at the time were interpreting scripture to describe the coming of the Messiah as Jesus' arrival and life actually unfolded. I submit that it was not one single person. Not one.

Anyone who marries themself to specific positions on biblical prophesy regarding future events does so at their peril, IMO.

I really hate the Left Behind books and movies. IMO, I think they are not only dead wrong but present a false narrative that is going to harm a lot of people that find themselves living in the great tribulation. When you think you're gonna get "raptured" before all hell breaks loose, and then you aren't, well, that could cause an emotional/intellectual challenge.
