This is perfect! There are many times when I think that I may have been praying inadequately, so this is an excellent way to facilitate to have more meaningful prayer time with God.  Thank you so much!

Here is a scripture promise about prayer

when we are in need of God's direction.

It is one that I remind myself of quite often.

It assures us that God will give us wisdom

when we ask it of Him in faith.

"But if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed around by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord."

(James 1:5-7)

2080759182_praythreadIstarted1john514-15.png.d7736835e2a7e4c505d6866137aa2352.pngThis is a good scripture that is sometimes sadly misused. Some mistakenly take it to mean God will give us whatever we desire (for they skip past verse 14 to verse 15.) But upon looking at it more closely it says:

IF WE ASK  ACCORDING TO HIS WILL. Those last four words are key.If not taken in its proper context, this scripture can give rise to things like the prosperity ('name it and claim it') teachings.
