As a senior citizen and also having an 89 year old mother, currently it's kind of hard to leave. We hate the high rents but other than that everything is convenient for me to do the grocery shopping and errands. Also, my mom loves her main doctor, although I know we could find another one. I trust He will guide you sis, and provide whatever resources are necessary to obey His guidance. I fully expect disaster to close in all around me at some point but I know I'm here for a reason and He's planted me on ground He seems to have some rather unique plans for. And I know I'm in His hand, nothing can touch me that is not filtered through His love for me and my destruction isn't in His plan. For now lol. It really doesn't matter where we are as long as it's where He puts us. No place in this world is going to be safe much longer without supernatural protection. I'm not worried about being here at all. I just don't fit the culture...at all. Its sometimes amusing to look back on life and see how He has prepared us for the call on our lives long before we ever even understood what it was. I kinda had to wrestle with this kind of thing since I was a soldier most of my adult life. I went through a season of "checking up" and trying to discern if I was in the Army because of Him or my own will. I really didn't ask Him when I joined because I didn't care much what He thought back then. But, He reassured me He had been guiding even though I wasn't really paying attention and secured me in the understanding that being a soldier was exactly what He wanted me doing. I concluded I was safer in the middle of a firefight in His will and plan, than I ever could be sitting on my living room couch apart from His will. It's no different now. A thousand may fall to my right and ten thousand to my left, but as long as I'm doing what He says, where He says to do it, it won't come near me. The comfort of that confidence is impossible to put a value on. I'm about two hours away from the epicenter of the quake, and it rattled and rolled. About ten seconds of it as a matter of fact. It's nice to hear someone express this. I have felt like a culture misfit for a very long time.
