I try to obey his commandments, beginning with the great and first commandment, that we love the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and the second like it, that we love our neighbors as ourselves (Matt 22:34-40). The Lord gave us other commandments meant, I believe, the clarify the first two. Whether good or not...He always deserves thanksgiving from us. After all, we have a heart that is beating, giving us life here on earth...and this as a gift from God. Every moment is a gift...and every moment is a new chance to praise Him. As life goes on and I get older I find it increasingly easy to praise Him at all times and for seemingly no apparent reason...apart from just worshiping Him for who He is.
