Isa 43:21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. Aside from living for and to God we have no purpose to exist. He is our life. And His life was spilled out for us so we could become restored unto Him and have that fellowship with Him once again. And ecclesiates sums it up real good right at the end .
