*sings* Only mad dogs and Englishmen (golfers) go out in the mid day sun.

I live in the Phoenix area in AZ and I've seen some really psycho golfers on the links while its a toasty 115 degrees. . . not something you'll ever catch me doing.   I've also seen said crazy golfers still on the links in a thunderstorm with lightning flashing around . . . amazing.

Yeah, I saw on yesterday's evening news, about the excessively hot temps over in the eastern parts of our nation. Really serious, and they seem to be the highest ever noted. Praying for all of you, dear Lady. God bless.

Shalom,

David/BeauJangles

We can always count on you in finding the humor of some of these unfortunate circumstances. That's really funny, bro!  :P

I'm not sure, but it gets better . . . the metal spiked shoes provide and even better ground and the golf club seems like it would make a good lightning rod. Haven't heard of anyone getting struck in awhile though.

Just sharing that my area has an excessive heat wave coming for Friday and Saturday.  Heat index expected to be 105 to 112.  I am not a hot weather person! So this maybe the end of me.

It is 75 degrees f here, but don't tell anyone please for there are only about 1200 of us here, and I think I am the most recent to  "arrive". Don't want it to get crowded.
