Do you have any apple cider vinegar?

A teaspoon of apple cider (I take is stray down) or in 4 ounces of water, will get rid of your hiccups

I wish to God that the only sins we needed to worry about were the consumption of tobacco, tea, and sugar.W hat a wonderful world it would be.It brings back thoughts of Jimmy Swaggert condemning tobacco farmers while he was out consorting with whores. My instincts were correct when he made me sick to my stomach whenever I watched him strut across the stage, foaming at the mouth, preaching against sin

A sin is a sin. We sin everyday. We repent of our sins everyday.

This thread has saddened me a bit.......

Am I the only one who loved to watch All those Cowboy and Indian movies where the Head Chief would sit in a circle and bring out the peace pipe for all to smoke.

And the thought of seeing a proper  British couple drinking milk instead of their Earl Gray Tea at 2:00 is Just not right....

And I guess after Jesus turned the water to wine at that wedding party he was then hearing their confession shortly afterwards.

Sigh!

That head chief was smoking opium. That is a very different class drug than smoking cigarettes.

He turned water into wine to keep the party going. There’s nothing like grape juice to put wedding guests into a joyful party mood! Give me a break...There must have been a reason Why Jesus was called a “ wine bibber and a glutton”. I suspect it was because he ate and drank heartily and enjoyed these blessings from God immensely .All with Godly moderation, of course.....He did not get drunk or eat like a pig.....

Yes, Jesus drank wine and He said he would do it again with us when we get to heaven. That will be some wine :)

Well it’s day 2. These patches make me feel nervous. My daughter and someone else said take a magnesium pill. I did. Thanks for caring friends ❤️

Who dispensed the nicotine patches for you? There needs to be a very careful calculation of the strength of nicotine in your patches. It all depends on how many cigarettes you smoke a day. If they gave you too strong of a patch that could cause some significant health problems. Never ever wear the patch while you are sleeping. Only while you are awake. That could cause a heart irregularity and other dangerous side effects. Be very careful taking magnesium pills without consulting a physician and getting lab work done. If your potassium or your magnesium is off it could cause a serious heart irregularity or your heart to stop.

It was more than likely a wild strain of hemp. Pretty common, even before the settlers arrived here. ;)

Everyone in my life is so thrilled I’m going to lay down the smokes. Everyone pray for me! I’ve rarely been successful before. I need help.

If you find that you can't quit at this time there are other steps you can take such as:

1. Go to low tar and nicotine cigarettes. This could take awhile for your body to adjust.

2. Go from the long 100's cigarettes to the shorter kings cigarettes. This also will take awhile for your body to adjust.

3. Wean yourself from the nicotine. Time yourself and have a cigarette every hour. When you are successful with that go to every two hours.

The above steps take time. Your body needs to adjust to a lesser amount of nicotine.
