For starters, come judgment day, I'll probably be holding up the line.  :P

Anyway, it's an eternal decision, so I very much doubt this will come lightly.

The Bible directly states that all things will be revealed.

So an entire look through my life on each and every moment?

That's 49 years of unseen video as of now, not including all side quests on how I have affected others.

I most likely will need a puke bucket for that.

I just don't think it's as simple as hoping to find your name in the book of life and then walking through the gates, that's all.

Is it possible to have something like a hundred year or ever longer trial over our soul in the way we think of time?

Thanks ahead for any responses.  :)

Sorry for posting another thread here so shortly, but I'm being moody again.

It's actually called Eternal Judgment, if that helps, Addison.

Heb 6:1-2
(1)  Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
(2)  Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

What matters is the consequence of the Day of Judgment rather than the duration of it.

Are you a born again believer in Jesus Christ? If that is the case then you will have a place in heaven. As far as your rewards that will depend on how you served Christ while on this earth.

I have wondered the same thing, and don't know the answer.  But we can speculate that communication will be much  richer than words alone can convey for us now.  And  we'll be in a realm that seems to  refer to time (at least at times) but isn't bound by time.  How that will affect our perception i have no clue.

I am guessing we'll be able to process information a lot  faster than we can now, but still, witnessing the evidence and rulings presented for  tens  of  billions of lifetimes, including a review of "every idle word", not to mention our  own certainly does seem a rather large task :)

I personally believe the only judgment one way or the other will be about whether or not the individual believes in Jesus.

Then will come the judgment of levels of rewards or punishment...

I believe the goats and sheep will already be separate and the white throne judgment will more or less be that one grand

all encompassing  all participating bowing of the knee to Christ and declaring him Lord to the glory of God the Father.

We are told we will judge angels... angels can be messengers / followers on both sides.

Will we judge saints or sinners?

{shrugging}

???

And if we are saints, or evil is forgiven. The rewards will be based on what good we did in the faith.

I doubt doomed sinners will be concerned what other doomed sinners will think of then if every time they picked their nose

is "revealed."

I tend to think the admonishments about these revealings are to get people still in this life to choose the cleansing of the blood of the Lamb of God.

I may be wrong...

Ultimately the only judgement that matters is.

" Do I love and serve Jesus."

John 3:18 says those who don't believe in Jesus, are Already condemned.

On that basis judgement won't take long.

I don't believe time as we know it will exist.  In Gods world he can be in all places at the same time so we could all be judged separately together so to speak.

15 minutes.

BTW, through experimentation I've also proven that 247 angels can dance on the head of a pin. :D

Trust Jesus! Then judgment lasts a few days between a feast and the millennial kingdom!
