Was simply checking out the locale for a church car show for tomorrow afternoon. Lately I keep hearing about liberal politicians who are removing all traces of God from our schools & institutions, that makes this doubly impressive. We must always tell our politicians that we are a Godly people, who were founded by Godly people. We will never allow them to take God totally out of America. The car show is a first time event for the local body of Christ done as an outreach attempt, a see my old jalopy tell me about yours and lets talk about my Lord Jesus while we are together kind of thing I guess. Will soon find out. It got my attention, as I have a vehicle that you can see if you click on my profile. Old cars, grease, trucks, all attract humans, and to have the "show" or meet at this place Fields of the Woods is to me kinda a fun idea. An easy transition from car talk to,- what do you think about these grounds , interesting, eh? Although I guess I need drop the Canadian "eh". I can't really speak to what the grounds are except that it was started many years ago as part of the Church of God Pentecostal whatever blah blah blah. What I know is what anyone can read on Wiki. I'm not affiliated with it, nor is the local body of Christ I am now participating in worship of God with when we are here as Halfbacks. It is just a big 200 acre place that tells of God in an unusual manner. I like it! Don't know how much Church of God doctrine might be interjected, and don't much care I guess. A Psalm is a Psalm no matter who posts it. BTW I have not really moved to North Carolina, I am still a member of a body of Christ in the subtropics of Florida where I reside. In my old age I have acquired a place to stay in the mountains. Yes the smoky's, and we are way out there, but with lots of other people, well a few anyway. Almost all are halfbacks, come halfway back North to the near homeland, and we least I love the native population they are the kindest of people that I have ever met. even to us invaders, they humbly share the blessing of God upon us. Anyway I did bump into this Fields of the Woods right over the mountain so to speak from us and was just flabbergasted,- what is this doing way out here?
