It's been my position that a covenant must exist for a covenant to be confirmed to satisfy the conditions of Daniel 9:27

Our President has tasked Jason Greenblatt to deliver just such a plan.

"He addressed the United Nations Security Council on reaching a comprehensive peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians..."

"Peace will require honesty, and a willingness to consider new ideas as well as courage and hard compromises. This is a time for us to speak to each other candidly, not in stale slogans and talking points." - Article

We have been hearing this for some time and now it seems efforts to secure the plan have not waned.

"Greenblatt is heading back to the Middle East next week for follow up meetings on the plan. He will be accompanied by the president’s senior adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner and other officials. They will visit Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the U.A.E." - Article

"And he will confirm the covenant with many." - Dan 9:27

It's an interesting itinerary. I'm not saying this is the covenant that begins the end, it's a fine candidate for the existing covenant that will be strengthened, the one in place for the beast when he rises.

Is this near prophecy to be fulfilled? A frightening prospect? A joyous occasion? A call to readiness?

Peace plans have been presented regarding this situation ever since I can remember... and thats many administrations ago.

Now if they accept the peace plan, thats different.

Btw, its unlikely this plan will be accepted, from what I read.

The difference between this peace plan is that an orthodox Jewish person is crafting it.

Actually both Jason Greenblatt and Jared Kushner are orthodox Jews.

Does that matter?

Dennis ross, the author of the peace plan under bill clinton, became religiously jewish back in the late 1960s. He was born to a non religious jewish mother.

They are not the first jews to craft a peace plan.

The temple is involved in this one. As Orthodox Jews, they Know that they cannot fulfill the Torah without the temple in place.

Since the plan wont be accepted, and since the temple cant be built as long as the mosque is in place, its just another in a long line of peace plans each president has proposed that will go nowhere.

The Tabernacle of David is a tent, It would fit in the area that is now the wailing wall, The Sanhedrin court has been established under the Temple mount, the temple institute already has the implements of worship for the Temple. The High priests slaughtered a Lamb this past Passover... it all looks like it is happening now??? BTW, they already have this Tabernacle tent set up in the desert, they would just have to move it and consecrate it.

On January 15th of this year, 70 nations gathered to discuss this peace plan, I think in Poland, can't remember. Well, in scripture seventy constitutes many as in70x7. This was not accidental, but done by someone who knows Hebrew tradition. The Sanhedrin also consists of 70 members.
