All You need is the tabernacle of David, which is in essence a tent. It does not have to be on the Holy Mountain even it could be moved from place to place. About a quarter of the size of an American football field is all that is required.

More likely the Dome and the mosque will be removed, by the prince who shall come.

Remember Islam is not just a religion.  It is a political ideology like communism.   No one thought that communism would fall suddenly like it did.

I doubt the Body of Christ will see a peace plan. No doubt it will happen, but we will be dead or raptured before it happens IMHO.

The unveiling of the peace plan awaits the election. Greenblatt has left the WH.

In all likelihood this plan will not be the one the ushers in the beast at this time. 

It seems that an existing covenant is confirmed by the one who is the beast, and not by the original author or statesman drafting or presenting the plan.

No doubt there will many objections on both sides. But I have heard there is great economic prosperity for the Palestinian people offered in this plan. (bribes, it sound like to me)

It will be interesting to see if a Temple for the Jews is part of this plan.

I just got through a brief reading about Israel September elections and why it had to be done for a record second time in a year.    I think the American system is far superior to the parliamentary system.

Our President has tasked Jason Greenblatt to deliver just such a plan.

We have been hearing this for some time and now it seems efforts to secure the plan have not waned.

"And he will confirm the covenant with many." - Dan 9:27 

It's an interesting itinerary. I'm not saying this is the covenant that begins the end, it's a fine candidate for the existing covenant that will be strengthened, the one in place for the beast when he rises.

Is this near prophecy to be fulfilled? A frightening prospect? A joyous occasion? A call to readiness? 

Your thoughts reflect my own. Given where I believe we are on God's prophetic time clock, I suspect Trump's peace proposal or portions of it, maybe part of the "confirmed" covenant? It sure seems prophetic that Trump is known for building and deal making (The Art of the Deal). The Antichrist 'confirms' a covenant, it could mean he writes it himself or it's already written and he confirms it. What seems to be a first is, a couple of Muslim countries, in particular Saudi Arabia is behind Trump's proposal and willing to cut off funds to their proxy organizations if they don't get with the program. There's a lot of firsts going on.

I'm just speculating but, I have a gut feeling Trump will not be president through 2024, given the prophetic speed of everything occurring. Trump's proposal was to have been revealed long before now; and I haven't heard when he now plans to make it public, have you?

Trump may be the most hated president by the left in history, certainly in my life time. America right now seems to be split 50 - 50% between liberal and conservative, and socialism and unrighteousness is gaining steam and taking over with time. I fear as a nation we're overdue for a national judgment from God. Events are unfolding faster than I can keep up with them...

Yes. And I have heard imams support a Temple in Israel. Al Jazeera reported this last year if memory serves.
