One of my favorite hymns by one of my favorite singers. Hi turtletwo, Yes me too. As to the subject of how does one cope with their past (which prompted my posting this video) I own it. I do not forget it. It is my testimony of my Lord that He took it on himself, but not for me to forget it, instead for me to see His Glory and to then kneel in absolute awe of His sacrifice in blood, His death, His resurrection, and His ascension, plus His promise to return again. I am secure in the certainty of His sacrifice alone. He redeemed me in that sacrifice. He is the good shepherd. He losses not a one of his flock. I do not have need to try to forget, nor do penance, nor make excuse, instead my past is my testimony owned and shared often, along with the fact of my being born again testified also at my own water baptism by immersion. I acknowledge Jesus is Lord of my shame. He paid it all.
