Send all the fries you want my way. I think that was the first food I actually liked. I was an extremely fussy eater when I was very young. And very skinny.

I was and still AM  a very fussy eater.I do not eat ANY  vegetables..... I refuse to eat anything that grows in dirt! Lol...

on a side note....I prefer raw sewage to spinach, and even though I can not prove this- Brussels Sprouts came from Hell.

Where I live restaurants are putting a fried egg and bacon on cheeseburgers. I’m not looking to have a heart attack anytime soon, but I might try it one day.

Grilled onions, guacamole, tomatoes, and  grilled jalapenos.

With some steak sauce, that's some good eating.

Girl, you know the way to a man's heart..
Here in Texas, the guacamole and sliced jalapenos are on most menus for hamburgers,  like asking for onions,  or some salsa verde.
This is normal just like grilled/roasted jalapeno poppers/bombers  (sliced in half with cheese) for an appetizer.

Did your parents make you sit at the table and not get up until you ate all your vegetables when you were a kid?

Yep.....I am sure their intention were honorable....but it changed nothing......all it did was put me through torture. My daughter is worse than me, but I don’t waste my time trying to force anything on her.It is not meant to be cruel but it is.

JK bro...

When working in the US it was my fav. Not to mention spumante to wash it down... Not a fan of any grease-burger. Do not like toads either... though the French like snails and frogs. They stole chips from the Brits and called them French fries. The US stole crisps and called them chips. And when I lived in Australia they had this weird thing 'called a bottle of sandwiches'. In the south they have grits - nasty, but they like them.

Have you tried it with green grapes too? Posh sturgeons roe is sooooo yummy.

Not tried that. Will remember it. Perhaps cucumber and roe sandwiches would be cool too.

If you catch a sturgeon off the Astoria bay in Oregon, you might get lots of roe.

Us Americans do not seem to like it much so it is cheaper than the imported Russian stuff.

I have yet to try caviar. Never heard of it eaten in sandwich form. Lol

You can have it on a biscuit as well, or any medium that does not interfere with its taste. It is an aquired taste for some, it is quite salty.

Burgers are nice but not my favourite. But now and then I enjoy them. Ostrich patty, slice of cheddar cheese, tomato relish, bacon, deep fried onion rings and fries.

Interesting the mention of ostrich burgers. There is an ostrich ranch in the foothills, not quite an hour away from our fair city. One day stopping at a popular cafe, I saw it on the menu. Inquiring about the taste, you can imagine what the answer might be. Why ask, right? Apparently they have much less fat, and are more nutritional. It was pretty good, but a little bland side. Can you imagine the drumsticks on these things? :P
