Some things to consider.

2.  The iron, clay, brass, gold & silver are to be broken to pieces TOGETHER.
Dan 2:35 KJV Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Hi Da Puppers

So good you are looking into scripture, but not really sure what you are trying to convey?

Ok so it appears that you are concentrating on this stone that breaks the whole image depicting the kingdoms of man?

Quote

3. The iron/ clay instigated the breakup of the statue.

Dan 2:40 KJV And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

Daniel 2:32   This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

Daniel 2:33   His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

Daniel 2:34   Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

That stone is Christ, the Rock.  He is the one that is cut out of God's mountain (The kingdom of God) and sent to do this job.  Christ is the one that smashes down all these kingdoms during the days when the 10 toes of the feet are ruling.  Christ topples down that whole system of kings and empires having dominion, one kingdom after another.....to replace them all with his kingdom, just one kingdom,.... an everlasting kingdom which from now on will rule all the nations of the earth.

Quote

4a. From Daniel 2, we see that stone kingdom consumes ALL these other kingdom's.

So from going back to when you said "3. The iron/ clay instigated the breakup of the statue" It cannot be the fourth kingdom that breaks up the statue, but Christ.  He is that rock (stone).

Quote

The 4th kingdom of the 4th king, is the divided kingdom of iron and clay, and is  responsible for breaking the whole world into pieces,

The 4 kingdoms in Dan 7 which were coming to power after Babylon are;

1. Mede's

2. Persians

3. Greecia

4. End time Rome (mixed kingdom).

The Mede's conquered Babylon.  The Persians joined and ruled with the Mede's.  Greecia then conquered the Medes/Persians, and Greecia was not conquered by anyone at Alexanders death.  His kingdom was given to his 4 generals and they ruled in "their own power".  One took the West, one took the North, one took the East, and one took in the South of the world.  Out of one of them sprang up the Roman Empire, initially the Roman/Greko empire.  This general kept the democracy system that the Greeks invented.  The others ruled by a different political system as far as I know.

So the fourth beast did not topple all these kingdoms before them, but came to power after unusual events and after much time had lapsed.

Quote

as well as the 4 kingdoms of Dan 2 shall be broken to pieces. This [4th] kingdom will subdue the other 3 kings [Babylon/ gold/Lion,  Media - Persia/ silver/Bear,  Greece/ brass/Leopard]   and the saints shall be given into the hands of this 4th king that shall arise after the kingdom of God is set up, for a time, times and the dividing of time.

Babylon, Medo/Persia and Greece were already long gone and the fourth beast had not even been formed yet..... but was yet to come.

Quote

It is at the end of these 42 months that the saints consume the kingdom of the beast.   This is why the 10 horns of Revelation 17 do not have crowns. [They lost their dominion when they made war with the lamb.   The beast will ascend from the bottomless pit WHEN these 10 kings 'accomplish the will & word of God ',

The 10 horns in Revelation 17 don't have crowns yet because the prophecy was given in the days of John.  This kingdom with the 10 kings had not come yet....at the time of the vision.  It was not that same Rome that would become the end time beast, but a different Rome, ...a new different mixed Rome.  It's roots are of Rome (Democracy), and it's strength as Rome (Iron) in it, but not the same Rome.  No crowns yet at that time.

Quote

The "days of these KINGS", Dan 2:44, are the kings of these 4 kingdoms.  From 2 Esdras 11,12, we learn that the  first one of the three heads,  dies suddenly and that this is the kingdom of the leopard, Greece, that will rise first.   The one that rises last (of the 3) is the kingdom of the lion,  Babylon.   The 2nd then would be media Persia.

Esdras is a very good book but outside the Canon.  This prophecy in Esdras is very hard to understand. It covers a whole large scope of time leading to the end.  Most don't read it so throwing it in here is not going to give any merit in my opinion.  Just stick with what everyone is reading is my best advise because it will only add confusion upon confusion and blur the lines.

To sum it up, the three kings that get uprooted when the FP is coming up (out of the 10 horns), ....whilst they are working and scheming together has nothing to do with the previous empires that came up and fell.  It has to be three kings that are existing in the last days, which are in the way of their agenda.  Three powerful kings who are a threat that possess large powerful armies and weaponry. I don't see a physical war to bring them down, but an economic one.  A very clever tactic that doesn't involve bloodshed.

Daniel 7:7   After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

Daniel 7:8   I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Daniel 7:20   And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

Daniel 7:24   And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

10 kings shall arise.  This kingdom is different from all the kingdoms before it.

Out of this kingdom with the 10 kings, another horn (king) shall arise. (singular - 1 king)

As this horn is coming up (rising to power) - 3 kings fell.

He, the little horn is the king who is subduing these three kings.

The three kings who fell, are not of the 10 horns, because in Rev 13 there are 10 horns, not 7. (also see Rev 12:3 - 10 horns)

Three kings are in the little horn's way.  They must be three powerful kings.

What's the best way to bring down a kingdom?

Destroy their economy.

Loans will be called in by the federal reserve bank.

If a nation cannot pay, then someone has to pay that debt for them.

A debt is a debt.  It must be paid and doesn't disappear.

Who-ever pays that debt now controls that nation.

This is how I think he will bring down the three kings who are a threat.  Not through war, but by bringing down their economy.

A bankrupted nation cannot go to war and cannot defend.  Cannot even eat.

Chaos is coming.  This little horn and the 10 kings who he is working with have now made the conditions right to take over.  Expect big changes in the near future.

I've studied Daniel thoroughly, and I came to the conclusion a long time ago that that end-time nation at the center of his prophecies is the same nation  John described as BABYLON THE GREAT in Revelation.  That nation, without a doubt, is AMERICA.

Daniel described that nation as that of  "a little horn that waxed exceeding great." And he described the people who founded and established it as, "the ten kings" out of the fourth kingdom upon the earth."  He also referred to them as "the mighty and the holy  people".  Thus, without a doubt "the ten kings" represents the Christian European Americans.

In Revelation 17 you'll find that the ten kings are in fact upon BABYLON THE GREAT.  Notice verse 12 which says,

And the ten horns (and the people) which thou sawest are "ten kings" which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast (with the man of lawlessness).

It is my firm belief that, instead of Israel, it is AMERICA which holds the key to the end-time prophecies of Daniel, and Revelation, and 2nd Thessalonians 2, etc.

Hi Fayec

In Rev 18, it describes the destruction of Babylon.  It's all about merchants and merchandise.  The hustle and bustle of buying and selling.  This is that material world that Christ called us to come out of.  It's not a nation but a land.....a land that makes the world go round.  If it is America like you say, then what about all the other nations who don't trade with America?  All nations have their own merchants and merchandise, and all people around the world are buying, selling and lusting after material things.  God is not calling us to come out of America, but out of the world's ways.  This city spiritually called Babylon is Satan's city.  It's the system of the world.  The plagues are coming on the whole world, not just America.  Everybody is striving for material things and all the delicacies that this world can offer.  Everybody is trying to store up their treasures on this earth, and not in heaven.  These material things that we strive for cannot save us.  They have become our gods.  Satan's woman, the harlot who sits upon all the nations, is a metaphor for the one who is doing the enticing.  This is her land, and her children so to speak.  We have to come out of Babylon and dwell in the city of Zion.  We have to change our mindset on things above where our treasures can never be taken away.

The harlot sits on top of all the kingdoms.  All nations are serving her.  She has made the nations drunk.  Drunk on what she's enticing them with.

In regards to "the mighty and holy people" I am guessing you are speaking of this scripture?;

Daniel 8:24   And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

This is not describing him but who he shall destroy.

Ok, how then would America be solely responsible for this?

Revelation 18:24   And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

I think we agree that:

1. The KOG was not set up during the time of the 1st advent.

Hello Da Puppers

The Kingdom of God has always been here, starting in the Garden, then with Israel, and now through Christ for all who believe, but even though God is in full control, the world has been under the influence and power of the enemy.  The Kingdom of God was set up from the beginning, but not ruling the nations until Christ returns if that's what you mean?

Quote

2. The kingdom of the 10 horns/ kings is a future kingdom,  as portrayed in Rev 17.What I think that you are missing is that when the stone kingdom of Christ strikes the iron and clay kingdom of the image of Dan 2,  that the kingdoms of gold, silver,  brass, and the 4th kingdom of iron & clay are all broken to pieces TOGETHER.   And Dan 2 makes it clear that the first kingdom of gold is the kingdom of Babylon,  [not the Medes as you expressed of the "1st kingdom to arise" in Daniel 7.

Daniel chapter 2 speaks about the image.  The head in that chapter starts with Babylon.

Daniel chapter 7 speaks about the 4 beasts which shall come after Babylon.  Yes he mentions the kings, and each king represents a kingdom, but it is during the days of these particular kings that the things mentioned shall come (for Daniel).

For instance, the first beast (Lion) is Darius the Mede.  He was humbled.  The second beast is the fourth king of Persia (the bear with three ribs in his mouth), ...the Persians were ruling with the Mede's.  The third beast is Alexander the Great (the leopard).  These kings came "after Babylon". Daniel was in the days of Babylon when he got this vision.   The fourth great king will be the little horn.

Quote

Let me remind you that Daniel 7 is about 4 KINGS that shall arise and not kingdoms.   A king is not a king w/o a kingdom.   Babylon will be one of those kingdoms WITH A KING that will be broken into pieces at that time,  because the gold kingdom is Babylon.   These 4 kingdoms of Dan 2 are kingdoms that Israel was in submission to after God destroyed the temple.   But,  at the end of the "days", the kingdom of God will see Israel ruling over all her enemies.

I agree.

Quote

(Maybe you miss this point too) But when the 10 kings unite to attack Israel,  they will succeed in destroying and burning Jerusalem & all the cities off Israel,  but Jesus will come down from heaven [not at Armageddon]  and deal them a crushing blow,  immediately destroying their kingdom.   As Rev 17 speaks of this,  it says,  "they [10 kings] will make war with the LAMB and the Lamb will overcome them"; and it further says that they will give their kingdom to the beast for one hour,  until the words of God atter fulfilled.   Their kingdom will cease.

I agree.

Quote

And then the beast will arise from the bottomless pit and rule for 42 months.   This is the same 42 months that Jerusalem is trodden down of the Gentiles and when the kingdom of God js set up at the 7th trumpet.

Now you are going backwards?  Didn't Armageddon just happen?

Quote

The little horn is the one who will lead the 10 horn kingdom against Israel.   Dan 7 & Rev 13 agree when they say that the body of the beast is given to the burning flame and one of the 7 heads of the beast from the sea suffers a mortal head wound.   This is the kingdom of the 10 horns that shall cease and then another (king)  shall arise, Dan 7:24, AFTER THEM... and subdue 3 kings.

Dan 7:24 KJV And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and ANOTHER shall rise AFTER them; and he shall be diverse from the FIRST, and he shall subdue three kings.

What you have there is the same thing happening twice?  When we put those scriptures together it forms the same event.

The seventh head (kingdom) in Rev 13, is the end time kingdom which the 10 kings come out of. This is the head that was wounded and healed.  This kingdom suffered a blow.  Maybe their network got revealed, with their lies and agenda's exposed?  Some of them going to prison maybe?  this could be happening right now, a lot of red faces and a big wound.   We know they will recover and nothing can stop them until Christ comes.

Tie it in to Dan 2, the toes.  The toes are the last part on the image.  It doesn't go further than that.  The 10 are there at the end.  Toes are small.  This kingdom will last such a short time - only 3 1/2 years.

Quote

Jerusalem is not the harlot of Rev 17 because she is the originator of all the false religions of the world.  She IS the harlot of Rev 17 because Jerusalem is the only city where God has placed his name and betrothed himself into her.

Can you please reword this?  You say Jerusalem is not the harlot, but she is?

On ONE hand you say that Dan 7 is about 4 KINGS,  but then turn around and make (your interpretation)  about 4 KINGDOMS that arise(Medes, etc).  There are (at least) 2 reasons why this is not correct. 1

Da Puppers

Those 4 kings had kingdoms, I acknowledge that (what you said earlier).

Daniel had a vision in Dan 2 about the image.  That image represented kingdoms to come.  The head was Babylon in this vision and all the different kingdoms that would take over after Neb until the end.

Daniel had a different vision in Dan 7.  He saw four beasts coming out of the sea.  That vision was during the days of the last king of Babylon,...Nebs son, or grandson.  Daniel was shown a little more detail than what he saw in Dan ch2.  He was shown the kings of those four kingdoms.  Something about those kings. For instance, the first beast that came out of the sea was depicted as a lion with eagles wings.  It's wings were plucked and a man's heart given to it.  This is speaking of one in particular - a certain king that would be humbled,...not the kingdom, but the king.

Daniel 7:4   The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

That king that was to come next (after Babylon) was Darius of the Mede's.  He was the one who conquered Babylon.  If you want to read how Darius was humbled, go to Dan 6 where he acknowledged the God of Daniel in the end and gave glory to him.

The second beast that came out of the sea was depicted as a bear.  The particular king of this kingdom was fierce.  He had three ribs in his mouth.  Go to the interpretation in Dan 11:2.  Tie it together and we find that he's speaking about this is the fourth king of Persia.  During his days his kingdom will be taken over by Alexander of Grecia.  We know that the Mede's ruled with Persia and were depicted as the chest and arms of silver in Dan 2.  Daniel was shown two particular kings of these two empires which ruled together.

And then the 3rd beast is the Leopard.  Alexander comes and conquers fast.

The fourth beast is that last kingdom coming with the 10 horns, and the little horn is the last king of the four beasts who are noted.  All these kings have kingdoms, and all these kingdoms had many kings ruling throughout their reign, but Daniel is shown 4 kings in particular which were to come.

Your last statement is why you see things differently.   You think it is about "kings to come", when it is about 4 KINGS that are to "arise out of the earth".  You apply an interpretation to that which is already interpreted,  kings arising out of the earth.

Be Blessed

The PuP

Daniel 7:3   And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

Daniel was already shown in Dan 2 about the kingdoms to come.  In chapter 7 he was shown a little more, about 4 particular kings of those kingdoms.  What's there to argue about, I don't understand?  The answers are in the bible, and we just have to search.  That's how the bible is to be understood, a little here and a little there.  Connect the dots.

Nations arise from the sea, because they are formed out of peoples, and from nations kingdoms are formed. Kings arise from the earth.  They are earth born.  When these kingdoms came up out of the sea, there were 4 kings that were noted.  We know who the little horn is, we know who the leopard is, just have to work out who the lion and the bear are, so we can understand that vision which Daniel saw.  In Chapter 2 Nebuchadnezzar was explained the meaning of the whole dream by Daniel.  He was shown all the kingdoms to come after him right to the last one.

I guess you fail to see how you continue to mix up (intermingle) what Daniel SAW (the vision)  with the interpretation of the vision.  It wasn't 4 KINGDOMS that rose up from the sea,  but 4 beasts rose up from the sea.   That is the vision.

Da Puppers

This is the last time I am going to explain this to you.  The four beasts are four kingdoms.  Dan chapter 7 is about those four particular kings out of those four kingdoms that had significance.

Quote

And the interpretation is:  4 kings will rise up out of the ground.   The word for earth is the arah,  meaning the physical component of the ground.   The ground/ arah is not symbolic of the nations.

But it doesn't say that does it?  It starts the vision by saying four beasts came up from the sea.  .

Daniel 7:2   Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

So four kingdoms arise.

Then further down when the explanation is given, God is showing Daniel about the four kings.  It's about them, not their kingdom now.

Daniel 7:17   These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

Kingdoms come out of the sea.  Out of peoples, tongues and nations.  They are formed out of multitudes of peoples.

Kings come out of the earth.  They are earth born.

Refer to Rev for the definition of what the sea represents;

Revelation 17:15   And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

.....now refer to this king that shall arise in Revelation.  He comes out of the earth.

Revelation 13:11   And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

Quote

It IS the interpretation of the vision....The 4 winds of heaven strove upon the sea (of heaven).  What your theological model fails to comprehend is that the sea of heaven is the realm of the dead that can only be seen with the same spiritual eyes that Eliaha could see,  but Gehazi could not initially.   The spirit realm is not some imagined,  intangible,  symbolic presentation of heaven.   It is the real deal that few have ever been privileged to see.  The sea is the realm of heaven that encompasses the throne of God.   There is a sea of glass,  like until crystal that surrounds the innermost parts of heaven that has a great gulf fixed separating it from a lake of fire.   The great sea (of heaven) is the entire realm of the dead.

It's a sea of people.  It's not a sea of heaven or the dead, but a sea of nations and peoples who are living/existing.  The sea is a metaphor for populations of peoples.   The sea of glass is the firmament.  It surrounds earth, not heaven.  It's like a dome.  It encases the earth.  Everything that is made for earth is inside it.  Whatever sea of heaven you are speaking about is not what this sea means.  There would be a spiritual realm, that I agree, but it's depicting not the spiritual but actual populations of peoples down here.  It's depicting something literal.

Erat can mean not only earth, but 'under the earth' I.e. Sheol or place of the giborim and bad spirits that rule over chaos (temporarily).
There is a major spiritual component to Daniel. "As in Heaven, so on earth". It is NOT just physical. Bashan is a good example of the overlapping and interleaved realities of  the underworld and the overworld. The chaos monster(s) arise from these deeps (sometimes Tartarus is described as a watery kingdom).

When something is spiritual AND literal makes it more real than less real.

(The earth is NOT flat or dome shaped. I have traveled all around it and can personally attest to this.)

Heaven was made for God and his angels, ....the earth was made for man.  God's throne is above the earth.  If you find yourself standing on the sea of glass, you have received victory and have partaken in the first resurrection.  You are no longer of the earth but of the spirit.  You will be serving God right at his feet which is above the earth.  You will be of the heavenly realm now in God's domain.  That sea of glass is what separates heaven from the earth.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

During this time, the overcomers are those who die a martyrs death,  not denying the faith.   Now,  when we see these overcomers standing on the sea of glass in Rev 15:1,2, they have "gotten the victory" [overcome]  the mark of the beast,  yet you say that they are no longer just souls still waiting for the redemption of their bodies.   But you believe this in spite of the fact that Jesus has not come [Rev 19] and it is a post rapture timing [unless you are a believer in post-trib(I don't think that you are) ].  Besides the simple fact that they are overcomers,  there are other internal reasons to prove why they have not received their glorified bodies.

Da Puppers

This could go on forever?

Revelation 15:1   And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Revelation 15:2   And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

I see John being given a vision of the seven angels about to sound.

Then I see John is given a quick glimpse of the end, when it is finished.  He see the saints who overcame are resurrected.

Revelation 15:3   And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

I see them singing and praising the Lord because salvation is given to them.  They have overcome death and are risen.  The dead cannot praise, for the dead know nothing.  Lights out for a little while.

see Mark 12:27.

ecclesiastes 9:10

Psalms 6:5

Psalms 88:10-12

Isaiah 38:18-19

Revelation 15:4   Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
(See Rev 11:18)

After that flash of a little glimpse concerning the resurrection of these overcomers in verse 1 - 3, standing on the sea of glass,  the vision continues again from verse 1 of when the angels are about to sound.

Revelation 15:5   And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

Revelation 15:6   And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

Revelation 15:7   And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

Revelation 15:8   And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

And for your information, I hold the post trib view.
