They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. He is given a reed like measurimg device and is told to go and measure the temple. It is important to know this is the temple of anti-Christ. Measure the inner court and thr altar this was the courts of Israel and the priest. where those who provide service to the anti-Christ. They were manned by Jewish, apostate, men. 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” 4 They are “the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”[a] 5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. 6 They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. 7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified. The Lord who is long-suffering that none should perish has His last two witnesses clothed in traditional prophet clothes Israel would expect prophets to look like. These are not just any two witnesses the descriptive terms used to describe them would seem to be pointing probably from Israel's history. They are helpless before these two witnesses and you can imagine how the anger builds into murderous rage. Finally there testimony comes to an end and they are defeat and killed by anti-Christ. Their bodies will layout in that blazing Middle Eastern sun and the city is the same city where the last two witness 's Lord died that was Christ and this is Jerusalem. This city is shown in her spiritual condition Sodom and Egypt two cities who literally were abominations to the Lord that is the spiritual condition of Jerusalem. 9 For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. 10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.11 But after the three and a half days the breath[b] of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. the entire world is going to get their happy happies watching them rot in the square of the great city Jerusalem. They will be so happy and then a The two witness receive the Breath of Life and they come back to life. Terror fills the world as the realization of their error begins to penetrate Then they heard that voice that to hem and us must be as perfect to each of us. And soungs like death to His enemies calls His sheep and His sheep hear His voice and they stand up and get a ride in the Shekinah Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not a bad way to make your exit as your enemies look on. I imagine there was some record breaking gulps happening by now. 13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.14 The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon. When you reject the Good News you just don't get good news. An earthquake most likely caused by the Lord Jesus return to the Mount of Olives and it splitting in half allowing the faithful Remnant to escape.A massive earthquake that kills thousands and does no ttouch the fleeing remnant. it must have remind them of their relatives who had gone through the Red Sea. Could you please tell me where are the apostate portion of Israel spoken of in the 70th Week of Years? No doubt the church’s and the direction they are heading in is very troubling.
