Hi Uriah,

Interesting thought there. My view is that when the Lord touches the Mount of Olives then it splits and living water flows out. This living water will fill up the valley outside Jerusalem where the slain bodies of the world`s armies are, with their blood mixing with the water to height of the horse`s bridles. (Rev. 14: 20)

And this water will flow east & west going into the river Jordan, up and down Israel for 1,600 furlongs, (about 200 miles)  (Rev. 14: 20)

Marilyn.

According to Zech 14:8 - Living water will flow out of Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea.  Nothing about going into the Jordan River; nothing about it only going 1,600 furlongs (not in Scripture)  The blood flows out from Armageddon for 1,600 furlongs.  This is Armageddon, not the Mt of Olives.  The blood from horses and men rise to the horse bridle, nothing about living water.  Not there.

It sure does disqualify him according to what you posted.  Judas Iscariot was one of the 12.

Hi again MM,

Armageddon is a campaign over time and down through out Israel.

1. Armageddon the large valley north of Israel. (Rev. 16:16)

2. The world`s armies go throughout Israel. (Zech. 13: 8 & 9)

3. Then up to and down to the valley of Jehoshaphat, surrounding Jerusalem. (Joel 3: 11 & 12)

4. The Lord comes down to defend Jerusalem. (Isa. 31: 5)

5. The Lord deals with the world`s armies and the horses outside Jerusalem in the valley. (Zech. 14: 12 - 15)

6. The living water flowing to the eastern sea, (Jordan) and western sea, (Mediterranean) to cleanse the land. (Zech. 14: 8)

7. The living water mixes with the blood from the people and horses, etc and will flow to the Jordan, then up & down the length of Israel to cleanse the land and `seas.` (Zech. 14: 12 & 15, Rev. 14: 20)

Yes he was added after the Ascension.  Only 11 remaining before the Ascension.  So your statement needs to be restated.

Hi again MM,

1. Armageddon the large valley north of Israel. (Rev. 16:16)

The Valley of Megiddo is the Battlefield, It occupies about 180 Square miles.  What does a winepress look like?  It is circular; the grapes are harvested from the outside in, the fluid is collected on the inside of the winepress.

2. The world`s armies go throughout Israel. (Zech. 13: 8 & 9)

Scripture says that the Lord will destroy the nations that have attacked Jerusalem.  It does not say the world's armies go throughout Israel, not in this verse.

3. Then up to and down to the valley of Jehoshaphat, surrounding Jerusalem. (Joel 3: 11 & 12)

Misquote, it does not say the valley of Jehoshaphat surrounds Jerusalem.  The Kidron Valley skirts Jerusalem.

4. The Lord comes down to defend Jerusalem. (Isa. 31: 5)

Yes but not near the time of the end.  Read on. Assyria's young men will be put to forced labor.  Not the end times.

5. The Lord deals with the world`s armies and the horses outside Jerusalem in the valley. (Zech. 14: 12 - 15)

This valley is about 60 miles north of Jerusalem

6. The living water flowing to the eastern sea, (Jordan) and western sea, (Mediterranean) to cleanse the land. (Zech. 14: 8)

We really do no know what the makeup of the land masses are after the 70th Week with all the earthquakes and changes in topography.  We do not know if this water travels 500 miles or 2,000 miles to it's destination.  Yet it will cleanse as you say.

7. The living water mixes with the blood from the people and horses, etc and will flow to the Jordan, then up & down the length of Israel to cleanse the land and `seas.` (Zech. 14: 12 & 15, Rev. 14: 20)

This is not even in Scripture. Yet, the birds of the air eat the flesh of horses and men Rev 19: 7,8

A lot of misinformation with lavish embellishments.

Hi MM,

Let`s see what God`s word actually says -

I believe that `Armageddon` is a campaign over time and down throughout Israel. So let`s see if that is correct.

`For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to the battle of the great day of God Almighty…..and they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.` (Rev. 16: 14 & 16)

Here we see that the world`s armies have gathered together at Armageddon to go to battle. So where is this battle? God tells us that the battle will be outside the city, Jerusalem. The Valley of Jehoshaphat is just outside Jerusalem. God calls this His `winepress.`

`And the winepress was trampled OUTSIDE THE CITY, …` (Rev. 14: 20)

` Let the nations be awakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will judge all the surrounding nations . Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come go down, for the winepress  is full. ` (Joel 3: 12 & 13)

Since the gathering place at Armageddon is at the north of Israel the armies will go down throughout Israel to reach Jerusalem. En route they will kill many Israelis.`”And it shall come to pass in all the land,” says the Lord, “That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, but one-third shall be left in it.”` (Zech. 13: 8)

The world`s armies come to Jerusalem and take it. What an over kill!

`Behold the day of the Lord is coming, ……. I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;  the city shall be taken..` (Zech. 14: 2)

However the Lord will go forth to fight against those nations and send forth a mighty blast.

`Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations,…` (Zech. 14: 3)

`And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem; their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, and their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets….such also shall be the plague on the horse and the mule…` (Zech. 14: 12 & 15)

The Lord will stand upon the Mount of Olives outside Jerusalem.

`The Lord will go forth and fight against those nations…..And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives.` (Zech. 14: 4)

Thus I believe that `Armageddon` is a campaign over time and down throughout Israel, as God`s word tells us.

Hi MM,

`Let another take his office, (apostleship),........and he (Matthias) was numbered with the 11 apostles.` (Acts 1: 20 & 26)

The office of apostleship here is pre-ascension. Matthias accompanied the 12 disciples all the time that the Lord went in and out among them. beginning with the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up, (Acts 1: 21 & 22). Thus he qualified to have that office, and was chosen by lot.

To answer the OP. If you look at the constellations, you will see a 90 minute window of the Leo and Virgo alignments that may signify the birth of Yeshua. Approx bc 2. This might work out correctly if the Shofar is also blown in the correct season. A herald.

The Hebrews did not have TV and cell phones and internet. They read stuff and observed the heavens as it was their calendar. It was their life and much is written of these ideas in the inter-testament period of hundreds of years of scholarship. This is lost to us since if it don't come from the pulpit or our carefully worded doctrines, then for us it is non extant. And you can be sure that is partly intentional.

If you care to observe the future alignments, you might see them again aligned. The sign of the Son of Man may be just as simple as that.

This city was taken once those of Judea fled to the mountains when they saw the A/ set up.  When you see standing, they left.  Trampled by the Gentiles for 42 months.  Yes taken by the A/C, F.P and the Dragon at the end to prepare for Armageddon.

The thing is there is not enough room in Jerusalem for these armies.  1.5 billion with more than 200,000,000 horses will occupy more than 500 square miles in a dense formation.  More than the area of the Valley of Megiddo where Armageddon takes place, the winepress.

The first 12 Apostles were appointed by Christ.  Matthias was selected by lot after the Ascension.  Yet Paul says he was least of the Apostles because he persecuted the Church.
