I once knew a pastor who always said that he had a pat answer when nonbelievers would question his faith. It was simply this

If I'm wrong, so what? If you're wrong, then what?

Thats too much of what I call cliche Christianity. Where its cutesy answers, sound bytes, instead of solid responses.

That's all it's supposed to be. A catchy little sound bite. Not meant for serious consumption or solid responses. Just a catchy little answer that's actually pretty hard to argue with in my opinion.

I suppose after an exhausting hour and a half trying to convince an atheist of the existence of God, the reality of Heaven and Hell, and you were getting nowhere fast, this might be an expected thing to say.

Maybe it just needs a fancy title to accompany it.....if it was called “ Pascal’s Wager” it would get more respect.

I loved it.....I think it’s a keeper.....I plan on stealing it .....:)

Without faith it is impossible to please God, that's what!

When our church had a door to door team the response we often got was,"N thanks, not interested!"

So the evangelist leading us wrote a tract we could give out:- 'No thanks I'm not interested!' with a sub stifle not interested in what? It went on to explain the gospel in simple terms and the consequence of not being interested.

It gained us a few extra conversations as the house holder laughed at the title and talked about the 'what'.

These catchy sayings have there place, usually when everything has been said or there is no opertunity to say much.

You are correct .    I am fully persuaded whom I believe in .    And with upmost conviction and steadfast faith ought we to present our LORD to all people .

Sister ,  I am happy you are still here  .   You are both loved and prayed for as well .
