Just thought of The Time Machine and also the Back To The Future movies. I'd probably waste the trip  back in time by just bringing a sports history and records book with me to the past, give it to me, and let me use it to bet on game results all through the future from then to present date just as in  one of those movies.

1.  Don't be afraid to fail.  Just get back up and learn from it and move on.

2.  Invest in Microsoft, Wal-Mart, and Coca-Cola.  Don't touch it until you retire.

3.  Pray more and more boldly and earnestly.

4. Talk to your grandparents more and write down everything they say and get them to write people's names on the back of all the old pictures.

5. Become fiercely independent quickly.  You're going to take the trip through life alone.

6.  Trust God in all things and just do what he leads you to do and be content.

How is this possible as smart as you are? I would think you’d have plenty of opportunities to meet someone you liked.

I did.  It just never worked out for a definitive future.  Could have married twice, but did not.  I accept full responsibility for that.  I've shut down that part of my life about 15 years ago.  Who knows.  People get married at all ages these days.  I just have a lot on my plate right now with immediate family responsibilities.

If it's to be at this point, the Lord is going to have to send me an awfully blatant message.

I don't know if I could give myself advice. I don't think my younger self would listen lol. I was (and still am in many ways) pretty stubborn. Or even if she did I may not have had some of the more favorable experiences that I've had. Who knows...

I think all I would really do is give her a great big hug and say  It's in God's hands and it's going to be ok."

There were a lot of mistakes that could have been avoided. :b:

Definitely, listen to my parents advice,  rather than so called friends that choose bad lifestyles, which  the carnal soul gravitates towards.  For the veil to have been removed so that the glorious gospel would have shined in and thus avoid the hideous things that was not pleasing to God.

I would accept Jesus sooner and then heavily invest in tech companies. I would use my fortune to spread the gospel! ?

Love it!

Just a thought along those lines- And, don't take the profit on that $12 Apple stock at $50. And despite what the B of A financial advisors say World Com WCOM will crash to $0.   Also I guess, do not retire in 2007 depending on  the stock portfolio come 2008

Seemed like a great idea to me too!!! Especially the use it for good purposes of God.  When the tech companies bottomed  and the old NASDAQ was halved those tech companies fell in value so fast the stop loss orders were too late to save even a dime by the time they executed.

But hey I had many tens of thousands of dollars in capital loses to take against my federal income taxes at the limit of $3,000 a year maximum allowed against ordinary income.

In the meantime I learned more about the wonderful things of God after being offered and taking a job at a church of all things instead of retiring. Had a real great time serving others that serve our Lord and savior.

BUT  it is grand fun to speculate on the upside of finances and what one might do with it all.
