Are all of the virgins saved or not? LOL What does the parable of the ten virgins have anything to do with being saved or not? Do you understand why Jesus gave the parable to His listeners? But if you continue to habitually sin, then the question is, are you truly saved. I assume you are saying that all ten virgins are saved and that they lost their salvation by not having the oil. I'm not trying to trap you in your words. I am just trying to understand whether the foolish virgins are saved.

If the foolish five were not saved, what does it mean to go and buy oil from them who sell it? This parable is about the kingdom of heaven which is the earthly Davidic kingdom on earth in which Christ reigns on his throne from Jerusalem along with the believing remnant of Israel (Daniel 7:18 Mark 11:10 Isaiah 2:2-4). The kingdom consisted of 10 virgins (Matthew 25:1)...five are not in the kingdom and five lost...all are in the kingdom. Only five made themselves ready to enter the kingdom when called (Matthew 25:2).

The consequences are severe for them but the consequences are related to eternal judgement and how they RELATE to the Kingdom for eternity. But there's no way this topic will be discussed with any good result in the current environment extant on this forum. It needs to be, but this will simply descend into another OSAS/you bounce in and out bloodletting....which is a shame. 1

This spells it out perfectly So some saved believers may miss the wedding banquet. That also is interesting to me.
