I don't really know this guy as I do not watch TV Evangelist. But I thought it would make for an interesting topic.

Binny Hinn is  publicly renouncing the teaching of prosperity gospel.  See link for the full story.

I saw this clip and was encouraged by it. He seemed sincere. It will take time to see if he's really turned from it but we can hope he's seen the truth will continue preaching truth now.

Seems like a good start. You can’t really fault a man for confessing his sin. Hopefully he renounces all of his erroneous teachings from the past. Either way this takes a lot for a man in his position to do.

I am pretty sure that he is familiar with the principle of restitution. May the Holy Spirit bring forward the word of God to him  and may he find it a joyous experience to make fullest restitution.

May all that have been misled and suffered be forgiving and let it go totally at that, leaving it all to the mercy and the justness of God alone.

What are the bigger problems?

Im no fan of hinn and if he has rejected prosperity doctrine thats great news. I didnt read the article though so I dont know if that means he believes in Christ or not.

He used to teach that Jesus had to suffer in hell fire for redemption, throwing the Holy Spirit like a baseball and knocking people out. He taught many strange doctrines.

Again, I’m happy for this start though. This could be huge for the Christian community if he make a full U turn.

Be alert.  Be aware.  Be cautious.

The false gospel has been propagated for so long,  with much deception and greed,

it would take a complete life change to turn to Yahuweh (God) in truth,  trusting in Jesus for real.....

But  that is part of the prosperity gospel he supposedly has repented from. So Im curious what his bigger problems are.
