That is one of the arguments that people give for reading this kind of stuff. It is compromising your faith. People want to do what they want to do.

how is it compromising your faith?

What does the Bible say about witchcraft and socery? Is it something that God says is acceptable to do? When we compromise our faith we are going against something that is God's standards. Please show me scripture that says it is ok to read books and watch movies that focus on sorcery and witchcraft.

Its not an argument. I did not become an atheist by watching Walt Disney. :noidea:

No. I read them.  It is fiction. They are About courage, friendship, and doing what is right even when it would be easier to do what is wrong.  Dealing with the lost of someone you love.  I am not going to argue about it.  If you have not read them, you wouldn't understand. So there is no point in debating it.

It can lead to a child casting spells. It's not Gods way.

Yeah. You should stay way from the real stuff. But Harry Potter is make believe.  Didn't you ever say abracadabra as a kid?

Well you all can do what you want. But I have no issue with Harry Potter.  Which I guess is was what the OP was asking. Since I answered the question I see no need to go on about.  Have fun with your debating. :th_wave:

Love not the world neither the things in the world said by Apostle John. It's not of the Father. Your saying it's ok. So by your words you will be judge.

That is probably one of Satan's best lies. You really don't want to go there.
