To learn about the rapture, only Paul has the answers. If we study 1 Thes. 5, Paul tells us that the Day of the Lord and the Wrath of God will come instantly after the rapture. WE get salvation (raptured) but THEY get sudden destruction (at the same moment in time) which is the start of God's wrath. In REvelation we find that at the 6th seal. The rapture then must come just before the 6th seal. Do you know where the "trib" or 70th week is in Revelation? so what do you consider the day of the Lord to be.... For example, where in Revelation do YOU place the days of great tribulation? 3.5 biblical 360-day years - tribulation 3.5 biblical 360-day years - great tribulation Revelation needs not be "rewritten" at all for pre-wrath rapture, God forbid I alter His Word. If a person is saved and genuinely loves God they will be obedient to Him. We have many pretend Christians in our world today. They love the world and the Bible tells us you can not love both God and the world. I hope that is true. David loved God. God loved David. I don't think I'm ready to say that because a person has a moment of what could be considered disobedience to God they are not saved, nor loved by God, and that they are not a sincere believer in Christ. People mess up. Even Jesus got into what amounts to a bar fight; destroying the furniture, beating people with a whip. Are you saying that was, or was not disobedience to the Father? I do ask the Lord to either show me where it is or not to forget me if it is true. I'm spiritually ready to go, but also spiritually prepared to stay.... whatever the Lord has planned for me. When he comes the wicked will be terrified to see him coming in the clouds but we are told to look up for our redemption is coming.... I see it as happening at the end of the tribulation period for he locks satan away for a thousand years. Personally it's not a big deal to me one way or another for I have the Holy Spirit to guide and get me through whatever comes.... and if it's loosing my head... well I've researched that and if done properly is relatively quick and nearly painless; and I won't be worried about the mess it leaves.. Edited by Omegaman 3:0 here as there were complaints about the end of the message, nothing really wrong, but could be objectional (and was) to some. The following line I wrote as a replacement, gets the same idea across: This would certainly be better than some ways to die.

The classical prewrath theory insists that the days of GT will take place during the seals - before the Day of the Lord starting at the 6th seal. Why? Because that is the start of God's wrath. On the other side of this coin, so to speak, John does not start the days of GT until late in chapter 14 or the start of chapter 15. Perhaps you are not well verses in prewrath theory. The truth is, the rapture will be both prewrath AND pretrib. Edited September 23, 2019 by iamlamad
