When pondering Bible stories and the creation account, has your mind ever drifted and wondered about things [Selah]. We all know by whom and when the lie and deception of evolution took place.

The first man Adam: We are told Adam lived to be 930 years old and his genealogy [Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech]. Using Ussher’s and other fine scholars calculations of when creation occurred [approximately 4004 B.C.] and the biblical listed genealogies and life spans; we conclude a migration throughout the world didn’t occur until Babel, some 1,700 years after the creation of Adam.

To my thoughts and point: From the preceding; all were closely related during this period, they must have lived in close proximity to one another in the same geographic region. If all of the descendants of Adam at this time didn’t personally meet him or know him, they certainly must have heard of him and known he was the first created man out of the dust of the ground.

Would it not stand to reason that all these descendants, especially with the passage of centuries; would have sought out Adam to ask many questions nagging them? For instance: Adam, what was your first memory? Adam, were you instantly created with knowledge or were you taught and learned? Adam, what was it like to walk with God in the Garden? Please tell me what was the Garden of Eden like? Before God made you an animal skin to wear for clothing because you were naked, what were you clothed with [light?]?

If the Lord had created and placed you there and then during Adam’s life time; would you have any questions you would like to have answered from the first man? Given the opportunity to ask one question, what would it be? Or, would there be a reason why there would be no curiosity or wondering, and we [they] should not seek Adam for any answers to questions?

After Adam was expelled from Eden he ate his bread by the sweat of his brow. How hard this was try reading about the experience of the early pioneers in America.

They had iron tools and often plough animals yet they worked from sunup to sundown just to stay alive.

It would have been similar for those alive in the pre industrial world. and definetly in the pre flood world.

How much curiosity would depend on what they were told about Adam, don't forget many followed Cain and had no regard for God.

Adam would have told them about God and would have been a living rebuke for there godless ways.

I just watched the series ending episodes of the new Battlestar Galactica.

SPOILERS

I thought it was a brilliant ending.

And for those who pooh pooh these kinds of artistic concepts of where we all came from...

I would remind them (us) that there was a race of being before us... we call them angels.

You will notice the term gods in BSG became "God" in the series finale. One mentioned the

name "God." the other said "you know HE hates that name."

Not she . it. they...

progression of the show indicative of the progression of man.

Surname of the leader of that group some 40 k in number: Adama

That being said, of course I believe in the biblical

eyewitness account (as dictated to Moses).

BSG and any other show is merely artistic.
