Well since we are retired and really don't need it I think I'd give God his due and set up trusts for my grandkids College. I'm going to be flat-out honest. I'd give 10% to my home church [not because I feel I have to but because I like doing that]. So that's $100,000. I'd put on Facebook a big "DO NOT ASK ME FOR MONEY!!!" I'd put another $100,000 in a checking account for me to spent exactly however I wanted to. I'd put $200,000 aside for philanthropic contribution in my area - and boy are there a lot of them! Food banks, homeless people, and the like. I'd give that out slowly or as needed and as often as is needed. I'd reserve $200,000 for medical care, home care, or nursing home payments for my mother and my handicapped brother. I'd put the other $400,000 in mutual funds and save for whatever emergencies, philanthropies, missions, or needs of my family or others that pop up. I've keep the interest for myself. I also would like to believe For The Lords leading . Even the worldly like wealthy move stars feel need to help the poor in places like Uganda and many other places in the world. We in ourselves can't stop the impoverished that are have no way to make decent living under cruel and corrupt rulers. Many missionaries risk their own lives to love these people with compassion. they need our help. Ever having enough money for me is long shot. I depend upon the Lords leading .
