The thunder was shattering and the lightening bolts seemed deliberate wherever they struck. It was an awesome sight to behold. So I said to the Lord, "Father, show me your glory." But I immediately thought, quicker than lightening, to add a sentence: "But please Lord, don't hurt anyone." In the following instant, a huge boltĀ of lightening struck the corner of my lawn, and lit the grass on fire as it rippled towards me, stopping within only feet of where I stood. It was frighteningly powerful. I thanked God for mercifully answering my prayer.
