It's just the outward manifestation of the inward hearts of the nation. It is no surprise.

As the people are not even sure that "they" want them........including Christians.

In His Truth,

Suzanne

It seems that the justices who rejected the 10 Commandments forgot that the basis of most the basic laws in this country (murder, theft) are based on the 10 Commandments. Is it really a surprise, since these same justices are rejecting most of this nation's laws in favor of moral relativism?

Not to mention that the original concept of separation had nothing to do with the way they are applying it now

So how are they going to remove them from the Supreme Court house walls without defacing national property? :)

If it was unconstitutional, why did the constitutional framers etch them into our nation's capital. Seriously, are the peopel in the Supreme Court that stupid?

The court declined to ban all displays on government property, saying some, like their own courtroom frieze, are allowed if they have a neutral purpose, such as honoring the nation's legal history.

How do you determine what a neutral purpose is?

It is not suprising that the U.S. law or upper powers would not be too welcoming towards the 10 commandments, although it is rather sad. For if you truly look at them as well as our laws it is undeniable where our laws originated.

The U.S. needs God. It is only a matter of time before this country realizes that.

In truth, the World needs God. Just hope that more of us believers and non-believers alike start to open our eyes more to see what is going on in this world today as well as see some of the things in which we can change.

May God Bless You

Danielle

I'm not saying it makes sense, but they did weasel their way out of having to remove the display in the Supreme court.

The funny thing is the "Seperation of Church and State" is a myth. It's too far often abused for the original intent. A display of the 10 Commandments is hardly a law recognizing the establishment of religion.

I have to wonder if most of the judges out there have read the Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers.

On the other side, the 10 commandments wasn't the foundation of the justice system like I've been reading from so many christian news sources.
