Of course. Confess and forgiveness is there--always.

There is little that flows as freely as forgiveness 'In Christ'.

It's not a yes or no answer.  But Yahweh takes vows very, very seriously.  Hopefully this will explain the matter to you...

If you made a vow foolishly and later repented and sought forgiveness after - with genuine remorse, sorrow and humility - then I believe He would forgive you an annul your vow (although it's of course up to Him).  However, if you went on a forum and asked "Will God forgive me for this, yes or no answers only", then you have the wrong attitude and you should be very cautious how your continue your Walk.

Yahweh respects our vows and holds us to them.  For examples on this, read and consider deeply Psalm 15 and the story of Jephthah in Judges 11:29-40.

That said, I'm sure He knows when we are being serious and when we are being foolish.    Therefore, I would suggest humbly approaching Yahweh in prayer with effort and sincerity as you ask to be released from the vow which you made foolishly - as opposed to having the attitude of "yes or no", which I don't think He would take kindly too.   What would help is speaking to the person you made the vow to and asking to be released from the vow in their sight - if that's possible.

I realise my words sound strong.  They are in part but also because I'm trying to keep the post short!  I'm sure many of us have made vows we haven't kept, myself included.  But remember, from now on, do not make vows.  There is no need to.  Do whatever you can to fulfil your words without having to make vows but never, ever be hasty (or even willing) to make a vow.

I hope you see that I write this with a heart of friendship towards you,  I'm only being harsh with honesty :)

Love & Shalom

Simple answer is yes.

Not so simple is if you are "swearing to God" in order to manipulate a situation, or lying for your benefit, believing that even if you swear to God that you will be forgiven, you can be caught up in such a way that God will see you as a liar.   It can become all too easy to lie in order to not have to be held responsible for your action, as in "I swear to God is was not me", when it was.  Read and understand Revelation 21 and 22.

If you are a Believer, the sin was forgiven before you even committed it.....you probably will receive some form of chastisement from the God you insulted, but it has no effect on one’s Salvation.....All sins of the Believer were paid for at the Cross....

One word.... Yes

Now the rest of the story I'm addressing just to myself so please disregard and we'll all pretend it's not written below :D

Mark 3:28 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: 9.  But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
