This is a fallen world and there are times we feel we have to struggle too much in life. He knows our needs, and He knows what is best for us. Even in times of trials. Trust and rely on Him. 1 2

Come boldly to the throne of grace and ask him to strengthened you with might in the inner man by his spirit. The holy spirit will release strenght little by little. So you will have to ask again and again. 1

The Lord desires fellowship in every way we express our feelings, longings, and needs as well. He will never get weary of spending time that we can offer. Prayer and praise are essential in our relationship with Him. Edited November 6, 2019 by BeauJangles 1 1

The one who remains in me - and I in him - bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing. Stop and think how much "nothing" is Perhaps, becoming AWARE of just how needy we are is what He desires? Flesh doesn't like that. It wants to be independent and establish it's own value by its own works....but it never works. He's far too big for even our biggest needs to overtax His love and power to fulfill them, and in fact He promises to do just that. Big or small, He ENJOYS providing for His children...as any good Father does. Ask and keep on asking. Seek and keep on seeking. Knock and keep on knocking. For those who ask, receive, those who seek, find and those who knock will find doors opened to them. Our asking, seeking and knocking is just bringing our focus to Him, our awareness of Him and providing Him an opportunity to fellowship with someone He delights in. Ask a lot Quote Jer 29:11-14 For I know what I have planned for you,' says the LORD. 'I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope. When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers. When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul, I will make myself available to you,' says the LORD. 'Then I will reverse your plight and will regather you from all the nations and all the places where I have exiled you,' says the LORD. 'I will bring you back to the place from which I exiled you.' Quote Jer 33:3 'Call on me in prayer and I will answer you. I will show you great and mysterious things which you still do not know about.' And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1 Jn 5; 14-15 1 1

In Philippians we are told, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with Thanksgiving, make your requests known to God." When you were a child, did you not ask your father for whatever you needed, and wanted? God delights in making our needs known to Him. In fact, He is the God who does what is not even possible for us to do. He knows we are very needy, and our strength cannot do for us what God's can. In fact, we read, "My power is made perfect in weakness." It is in our weakness that God shines. It is in our suffering that God is glorified. Don't feel badly. Ask Him. Talk with your Daddy. Can you imagine a child afraid to go to his father, or never talks with him? He would be very sad. Go to your Papa and sit on His lap, and tell Him everything---He is waiting. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 Heavy laden - burdened with grievous cares characterized by or indicative of distress or affliction or danger or need I've often heard it said, He's a big God so we don't need to worry about asking for big things. He's your Father, sister. Never forget that simple truth. 1 1

God is a generous parent. He loves us. Like any loving parent, He wants to give us everything - but He knows what is too much for our good. I personally think it makes God happy when we are confident in His love for us - such that we are like children when asking Him for favours. Even with regards to "frivolous" things - what harm is there in asking? God can always tell us "No - that's not for you". So don't waste time on guilt. That's a trap of the enemy. Ask for what you want and need, and let your loving Father decide what is best for you. 1
