I think it matters very much how you look. We are Christ's followers. I think as a woman i must look neat, clean, tidy, smart and above all - modest. To look respectable gives a vital message. Men should look similarly smart and good.

No ambassador or representatives in the business or workplace would look less than their best?  Why would we? I think carefully every day to be at my best.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, may God bless ?

Thank you. I would call that a peaked hat. Glad to know the US/UK translation.

Brits have no idea what a Homerun, strike out or grand slam is so those words do not have the same impact as they do in the U.S.

For example: "That comment was a homerun(homer for short)" Does not quite mean the same for them. Now if you said that comment was a "six" and she was a cricket fan she would understand the analogy.

“  Go back to Russia” Is what dumb people say when they lose a political argument. You impugn somebody’s patriotism and attack their  character rather than admit you may be wrong. Somebody once said “Patriotism is the last refuge  of a Scoundrel”

I was making a joke about that mentality

Cricket? Is that as exciting as “ curling?”....... lol....

Thanks, there is a big thing going on in the UK now about Russian interference in our government and I thought it might be a reference to that.

As you were lol

PS curling is really exciting.

I’ll have to take you at your word about curling. I “do” want to thank you for that four man combo you shared  with us back in the sixties .....I saw them back in 65 in Cincinnati , Ohio......named after some kind of bug or something......The Beagles, or something like that.....I think they disbanded a few years later....

Revlori, I appreciate your politeness but there is no need to reply to every post. Please don't burden yourself, unless you really want to.

Blessings.

Thank you dear sister, but it's not burdensome to me. I enjoy replying to as many as I can. I like to encourage others by letting them know I have read their response and that I appreciate them. You and all of my brothers and sisters in Christ are being used to help many people with your comments and prayers and wisdom, so I just like to show everyone that I'm thankful for that and that it means a lot that each one takes time to comment.

God bless ?

Just for the record it's referred to as a baseball cap. That would have avoided the confusion. Pretty funny to imagine what you might have thought. It's definitely not an athletic supporter. Hope that's not even more confusing. It's not a contributor to sports!

I know, i mean where does showing cleavage in a low cut dress at church fit in? Or anywhere for that matter. I've seen women wear stilletoes and totter in. Off the shoulder dresses. Just lack of thought i think.

I just dress for comfort and practicality myself and i cover up!
