The sheep of the fold of Jesus the Christ my Lord and savior  have ears to hear His voice, and each follows Him.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
-John 10:27

The first word that pops into my head is "follow," but wool socks are important to me in the winter.

Yup--we see this over and over.

John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

This is very encouraging because it is a sure way, in experience, that we can know that we are one of His sheep.

We hear His voice. This can come in different ways--but most of us can recall clearly when we first heard His voice when He 'saved' us.

I still small voice in the mind, a conviction of sin by the Spirit, a word of caution or a clear word of instruction.

At some time and at some point, you heard His voice.

Be encouraged and joyous. The Good Shepherd speaks and we hear. He is more than capable of opening our ears according to His will.

Have an ear out always---and listen.

That's a difficult question to answer, ...I raised sheep in High School, ...it's a choice between being the most stupid creature Father ever created or, ...being the most stubborn creature He ever created, ...now we need to plug that into the answers already given to honestly evaluate ourselves...   :whistling:

Lord bless

YES!

This is why we need the Good Shepherd.

Even an earthly shepherd is several orders of magnitude greater than the sheep.

How much more is this true of us and the Good Shepherd?

He is a very 'Good' shepherd.

Rom. 8:28   And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
