Neighbor 5,941 Posted December 2 Hi all, I am having fun this Advent season! I have a wreath on the front door already, candles in the front window, the tree is now up and being decorated. Christ Has risen indeed. (I like to think of Resurrection Sunday as I read of the four witnesses to my Lord's manifestation and birth. Debp 9,387 Posted December 3 Usually I put up a very small tree and decorate the counter with ornaments and snowmen. I have alot of decorations that I got on sale through the years. Neighbor 5,941 Posted December 3 Ha, I am actually going out to Hobby Lobby in a bit. Can't believe it! Hobby Lobby to get some pussy willows for a tall tin urn that has flowers from another season in it. I dislike Hobby Lobby, can't take any store that smells of scented candles and such. But my Peach has asked and I am going. Jingle bells jingle bells- Mr. "Bah" goes for it! Christmas spirit with all the trimmings. Why not, it is time past time to get back in the game anew. Been past mourning the loss of my first bride, which occurred at Christmas season, for a long time, but have carried some of it's trappings and entrapments especially at Christmas for way too long. Hadn't fully realized it letting the flash backs and harsher memories dominate. Not doing that anymore, not forgetting, can't but not letting it be boss over the season either.
