Do you think physics might one day prove God as a real person?

Everyday we see His handiwork. Isaac Newton thought so too.

The more I look at His Creation, the more I see Him there.

Physics is one way of looking at His Creation.

"Prove" in a scientific method sense that would convince anyone?

I very much doubt this.

I'd have to say no, just on the basis that God wants us to have faith and things aren't going to continue as they are now forever. Humanity doesn't have infinite time. But with that said I do entertain the notion that science might let us glimpse at spiritual concepts and our scientists just don't recognize them as such. A big example of this is the study of consciousness. IMO that field of science comes close to spiritual ideas since it touches on the notion of a soul. The thing is that even if something is found that suggests or proves the existence of a soul most scientists aren't going to call it that. They'll call it anything but a soul.

Science is too weak a method to consider the supernatural.   By its very methodology, it's confined to the natural universe.

But God does interact with this natural universe, in such actions as miracles and answering prayers. Physics is just a subset of science, which has demonstrated that it is the most effective method in discovering and describing events. Since some of God's work does interact with this natural universe, science and physics can study those effects. As in any search for the truth, all you have to do is follow the evidence. And since God has left a lot of evidence in the form of miracles and answering prayers, science and physics can determine whether miracles and answering prayers does have an effect.

Hey, if we can put our minds to imaging the most elusive body in this universe (a supermassive black hole), why not apply science to god?

I bought an "M" String Theoretical Physics book a few years ago and in going through it, it does explain how God may have some of his attributes    Being a multi-dimensional being he has access to physics we are just trying to discover mathematically...…    he is a real entity although calling him a real person is a bit short sighted   LoL

Technically, one real God, three real persons.

close enough for me to go along with...….     it's that word God that gives us all the trouble...   To the Hebrew and Greek scholars it really doesn't mean the same thing to a western civilization person of today.

It's why we have to be careful about the way we take many things.   I see Jesus' ministry as a clarification of scripture.  So many times, He pointed out that salvation wasn't that complex.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind. [38] This is the greatest and the first commandment. [39] And the second is like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the prophets.
