I see the gaps as well. Don't understand it. Not a scripture is explicit. But there is enough evidence in unfulfilled prophecy to make this conclusion of a time gap accurate.

So what do you have, other than just belief in a gap in Eze 38-39, that leads you in that direction. In the case of the last week as described in Matt 24 there is quite a bit of unfulfilled prophecy, 69 weeks being fulfilled in the past and 7 years of unfulfilled prophecy coming.

Hi Diaste,

As these two events - Russian War and Armageddon are future to us it will not become really clear till after the Russian war.

Still, I can see, (as you have been saying) that although the earthquake is in the land of Israel, (Ez. 38: 19) scripture then jumps to the affects from the other earthquake at Armageddon, (v. 20).

Then in Ch. 39: 21 I see that God`s glory will be set among the nations and that is in the millennium where the nations walk in its light. (Isa. 60)

So, back to OT liturgy? All I see is this about the worship of the Lord in the kingdom:

Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. And should any of the families of the earth not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, the rain will not fall on them. And if the people of Egypt will not go up and enter in, then rain will not fall on them; this will be the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of Egypt and of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

On that day, HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the house of the LORD will be like the sprinkling bowls before the altar. Indeed, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD of Hosts, and all who sacrifice will come and take some pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of Hosts.

Hi Diaste,

Each prophet has some part of the whole picture. Ezekiel focusses on the Temple built in the millennium. Notice in this verse,

`Then he said to me, "The north chambers and the south chambers, which are opposite the separating courtyard, are the holy chambers where the priests who approach the Lord shall eat the most holy offerings. There they shall lay the most holy offerings - the grain offering, the sin offering, and the trespass offering, - for the place is holy.` (Ez. 42: 13)

You are looking through the eyes of a believer in the Body of Christ, where we do not have such offerings. However the millennium is for Israel to rule the nations as God has promised and this time they will rule righteously by a regent King, (David) and priests, under the Lord guiding hand through His Holy Spirit.

Israel and the nations have lessons to learn for they are STILL AN EARTHLY PEOPLE. As such they need earthly physical lessons to illustrate that coming to a holy God requires a blood sacrifice. And that will be illustrated by the blood sacrifices. (see  `all who sacrifice`) Remember these people on earth do not have the Holy Spirit within making them like Jesus. They are an earthly people learning to live according to a righteous government.

They still have their free will and when they do not go up to Jerusalem to the feast of tabernacles, (God with us) (as you said) then plagues will come upon them, as no rain will fall on their land, thus bringing famine and plague. (Zech. 14: 16 - 18)

My dear sister in Christ Marylin, and all the other brothers

Where is the "Catalyst to the Russian War"? I was absolutely sure that this War was not going to happen. The only War or battle that I am sure is going to take place in the world now, even now, and from now on, it is the battle of Armageddon (Air - Magog - Eddom), and who are the main heads on the Enemy's side, or of the Enemiy's armies?

Well you had better watch real close for it is looming right now.

Remember in the 6 day war, when Israel was outnumbered by 8 - 1, plus Israel had inferior weapons, (at that time). Well God came through for them and they routed the great hoards of Arabs in 6 days. It was then that Israel took the Golan heights from Syria.

The Golan heights is outside Israel`s walls and thus referred to in scripture as `unwalled villages.` (Ez. 38: 11) There are oil fields there which Russia would want as well as the fertile land. Now did you know that Russian troops are posted on the border there of Syria and Israel.

At the moment Russia is helping Syria with its civil war, and also Libya with its civil war. Then we have Iran over in Syria too. Just now we see Turkey coming against Syria so it is a real seething cauldron of fire.

When Russia comes down through the Golan heights we will know and see God dealing with them.

God`s word is very detailed.

Oseas,

It is polite to discuss what some one has talked with you about and not go off into other topics.
