Usually, it is sin (unconfessed) that is the culprit. Othertimes, it's because I've allowed the World to take priority over God's Word and keep me distracted from focusing on maintaining my relationship/fellowship with Him. All I know is that spending even 5 minutes of my time praying and/or reading the Bible usually gets me back on track. I wouldn't be able to tell you why you feel the way you do, but I know that God tells us that our conscious can be hardened by sin. I believe the feelings you are experiencing are given by His Spirit leading you to restore your fellowship with the Lord. He with your willingness to help is the only one that can change that distance into closeness. 1

I'll try to make time to read when my baby is sleep.

That is likely a very poor idea for a new mom needing energy , perhaps nursing a child and on medication. Least ask your own medical advisor (doctor) first. Personally I think you may simply suffer from selfmeanification. Stop beating yourself up! Instead enjoy some time reading from the Bible aloud to your baby, and think upon what you read, and pray upon it aloud while with your baby. Allow yourself some pleasure in the Holy Spirit with your baby. 1

And when our mind is distracted with the duties that often diffuses our focus on Him, He knows and realizes our need for doing whatever we must do. Don't let condemnation get the better of you. These thoughts are not from God. Praying for the closeness you have felt for Him once again. God bless you. Shalom, David/BeauJangles

The only thing keeping me from fasting is this irritating issue i had after delivery. But i think Id be okay to fast once I get better. But yeah i got some books. Once os a bible based. Christian baby book. Its very cute and amazing. I love it. Edited January 6, 2020 by Figure of eighty 1
