Informative. 168 pages plus endnotes. "Another Jesus?" by Roger Oakland with Jim Tetlow "Description: Many Christians think that the Christian practice of communion is the same as the Catholic tradition of the Eucharist. But this is not so. The Eucharist (i.e., Transubstantiation), is a Catholic term for communion when the bread and the wine are supposed to become the very body and blood of Jesus Christ. These transformed elements are placed in what is called a monstrance and can then be worshipped as if worshipping Jesus Himself. The implications are tied in with salvation. With the Eucharist, salvation becomes sacramental (participation in a ritual) as opposed to justification by faith in Christ alone. While this mystical experience called the Eucharist cannot be upheld through Scripture, there appears to be an increase of interest by evangelical Christians towards this practice." Can somebody help me with this? How do I convert to Catholicism? I was catholic born and thirty yrs in the RCC. Never heard the gospel. The first time I went into a little baptist church to go to a neighbors funeral, I heard the gospel for the first time. Without any hesitation, I recommend you never set foot in a catholic church. The fact you ask this question causes doubt you understand the gospel message. It's not about imperfect parents. I hope you chew me out and tell me you fully understand what you must do, by faith, to be saved.

That's a common theme among apostates. Catholics read a passage from the gospel at every Mass, and their catechism is full of references to the gospel. Both Sunday Mass and studying the catechism is a requirement for every Catholic. If you never heard the gospel in your thirty years of being a Catholic you must have had a mighty long sleep! "An apostate is a person who renounces beliefs voluntarily that they once held"............ I Got saved dude!!

How do you believe he told you that ? Neither are their are any Church denominations or church orders in Gods kingdom. He would not tell you to jump from the skillet to the fire. Your faith built on personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Your parents have nothing to do with you working out you own salvation. You are correct. I get called a bigot because I’m a Christian. It`s not about where you should `go` but `who` you are listening to. God never directs believers to Catholicism. Never. Be aware of your God! We are The Body of Christ. It is a paegan cult! Do you really think it is ok to pray to Mary? Do you need a priest to forgive your sins and not Jesus? Do you want to be part of a “church” that believes Communion actually involves eating the flesh and blood of Jesus? I implore you to rethink this idea.
