Catholics, I have found, are not very knowledgeable about the Bible, as say are born again Christians, as the Catholic theology does not place much importance on the individual's personal responsibility to be accountable for one's behavior and salvation with the Lord, as those "matters" are placed in the hands of the Catholic Church. In short, the Catholic Church has "plowed the ground" and has prepared the "soil" for the evangelizing work that follows and that will plant seeds of Truth upon that "soil." 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am an ex-catholic.. I was a catholic up until my early 20's..
