“When Jesus died I died.”

“Not I but Christ.“

“I have been crucified with Christ.”

“My life is hidden with Christ in God.”

“It is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me”

“reckon yourselves dead unto sin but alive unto God”

All these scriptures speak of the same truth just with different words... They all speak of the exchange that has happened. Death for life or life for death depending on which way  this truth is looked at.

This exchange happens by faith, by the faith of the heart seeing it is the only way to walk in newness of life. Christ came to fulfill the law in each one of us. He did this by taking us to death with Him thereby fulfilling the law that says “the soul that sins that soul shall die”. This is the foundation of our salvation in Christ, our deaths in Him and subsequently our new life to rise out of Him by faith.

This truth once believed and understood from the heart, even in a small degree, will bring such a joy and peace to the heart of the believing soul that nothing can compare. The security in Christ, the eternal hope that this faith and understanding brings forth in the heart. This faith in what Christ said He did for us on the cross. This faith that sees and lays hold on this truth. This faith is that that will overcome all. This faith that sees it itself is nothing. This faith that lays hold on the cross of Christ. This faith that lays hold on their death on the cross with Him. This faith that will lay hold on the new life that is promised to the believing soul. This faith that sees unless God Himself causes the New birth, the Divine nature, to really and truly grow inside of the heart of the believing soul, it will never get done. It is this faith that touches Christ. It is this faith that the just shall live by.

It is this faith that is available to all, at any and all given moments of time, as long as today is called today. This faith, that will turn itself from itself to the living God. This is repentance in it’s fullest. A turning from self to God. This faith and this repentance is available to all as long as today is called today. This faith that sees God’s love as it strength, as it’s hope, as it’s security, as it’s all. This faith that knows it has no hope but from God. This faith that looks to God with a constant;

“what is that to a dead man, I follow Christ”...

and than with a constant; “God what do you say”

This faith that will look like a fool before all to maintain it’s faith and heart after God. This faith that will give itself over to death to maintain it’s faith in God.

This faith that will believe God and take Him at His word....

“It is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me.”

Be blessed all, as we learn this truth in an ever increasing degree. For if not, we only have the old creation to live out of, and that is that which we are called out of.

In Christ, Not me

So few words, but the truth put forth is so far reaching. Scriptures have that as a habit.

Be blessed as we grow in Him, Not me

2 Peter 1 : 1 - 8   speaks of like precious faith that God is willing to give to all of us so that we can subdue kingdom , work righteousness,  stop the mouth of lions and in all circumstances always triump.

God is looking for those who will be strong in faith and do exploit in him because He has become our all in all. How can we reach this plane of Faith? Faith that grows EXCEEDINGLY.

Peter gives us the answer : the seed of faith needs to flourish into a strong tree filled with the fruits of righteousness. Giving all diligence, add to your faith an abundance of these. The "these " are the fruits of righteousness.

Only those with the like precious faith it can be said that by these they have obtained a good report and along with Paul they can say :I live no longer. But another even Christ has taken reins and even rule of my life.  I now live for him and him alone. Christ in me  the hope of glory.

I am my beloved and his desire is towards me.

Yes, all things come from God through the faith of the heart turned towards Him...It is this faith or this hearts journey towards Him that makes or breaks the believer...All else is a means to the end to get the believers eyes on Christ, continually, moment by moment as they go through their day...For He wants to be, and as intimately concerned with even the smallest expression of righteousness in the believers life.....This is how faith grows, doing righteousness in all things, and trusting Him for the outcome and the fruit of that righteousness to be manifested as He wills...Faith and/or trust in Him as a ever present reality.... A constant looking to Jesus in all we do, say, think, dream, hope, desire....The lack of these, is why my walk with Christ is such a sad state of life and growth as compared to what is available to the believing heart....This is something I/we can not change on our own... For all growth comes from God, by God, all I/we can be is willing, so He might bring the growth....

Oh that today our hearts would be more willing than yesterday and tomorrow more even still...For as long as there is even a small bit of growth in our lives towards Him each and every day, sooner or later as long as we sojourn in this life, growth is the constant promise...

Be blessed as we grow in Him, Not me

@Not me,

The power of God was working so mightily in Paul, because he was so yielded to Him. Here is a man whom God can fully possessed.

Yes, we all do, but the bar of righteousness remains the bar that all is measured against.

as said to Turtletwo, to the desiring.

16 minutes ago, Sonshine said:

Amen!  On the road to Damascus, Paul was chosen, hand-picked by the Savior of the world.

That the desire of the purity of the product would be the desire of our hearts.

Be blessed as we desire Him, to be our all, Not me
